Praying for Government Officials 1 Timothy 2: 1-2 I urge then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (Romans 12:3) Wisdom- But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (James 3:17) Courage- For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self- discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7) .
