The senior sparked a four-goal second half against UAB Oct. 23 before scoring C-USA Championship Semifinals (Miami) TBD the game-winner at FIU (Oct. 25), beating the Panthers for the first time in her tenure. The weekend wins secured a spot for the Owls in their first C-USA Women’s Soccer Championship in program history. Sunday, Nov. 8 Emslie also moved into second in the school record book for game-winning goals (10) and points (66) C-USA Championship Match (Miami) TBD as she added an assist against the Blazers.

C-USA Defensive Player of the Week – Jenna Dubs, Marshall, Sr., D, Green Lane, Pennsylvania Dubs led Marshall to a 2-0 shutout win at WKU on Oct. 23. The senior tied the program record, making her 76th consecutive start (every match of her career). Dubs played all 90 minutes on a Herd backline that faced 15 shots, only allowing three on frame, and fended off nine corner kicks. Marshall tied its program record for wins in a season (12) and wins in Conference USA (5). The Herd have also clinched a spot in the 2015 C-USA Women’s Soccer Championship.

C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week – Sydney Drinkwater, Florida Atlantic, Jr., GK, Merritt Island, Fla. Drinkwater became the first goalkeeper in Florida Atlantic program history to record five consecutive solo shutout victories as the Owls downed UAB and FIU. On Oct. 25, the junior made a career-high 11 saves, including eight in the second half, to secure Florida Atlantic’s first trip to a Conference USA Women’s Soccer Championship. Drinkwater’s .857 save percentage, .780 goals-against average and nine shutouts all rank among the top three performances in single-season program history. Drinkwater e C-USA match has not allowed a goal in her last 472 minutes played.
