The Centre also currently extends to Campbelltown and regional areas in the Riverina district of NSW. Centre Director, Barbara Hall Barbara has been associated with the College as a CPE Supervisor since 2002 and has been conducting Introductory Courses and Basic Units through the Canberra & Region Centre for Spiritual Care & Clinical Pastoral Education in Goulburn, Canberra, Cooma and Queanbeyan. Barbara is a CPE Educator (Level 2), currently one of the Deputy Presidents of NSWCCPE and was previously Executive Secretary for six years. Barbara is an Associate Teacher with Sydney College of Divinity. With 25 years’ experience as a pastoral care practitioner in acute, palliative, rehabilitation and psychiatric hospital settings, Barbara held the position of Coordinator, Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care in Goulburn Health Service for 17 of those 25 years, stepping down from the role in December 2018. Carmen Karauda Carmen is a CPE Supervisor (Level 1), previously attached to the Mental Health CPE Centre. Carmen was a Course Facilitator and Assessor for Holy Family Services’ Registered Training Organisation, a privately run RTO in Marayong, which facilitates courses such as 10642NAT Diploma of Ageing and Pastoral or Spiritual Care. Carmen currently holds the position of Treasurer on the NSWCCPE Executive and brings her valuable former experience as an Accountant and Accounting Software trainer to the role.

Approved Conservation Advice (s266B of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999) Approved Conservation Advice for Pultenaea baeuerlenii (Budawangs Bush-pea) This Conservation Advice has been developed based on the best available information at the time this conservation advice was approved. Description Pultenaea baeuerlenii, Family Fabaceae, also known as Budawangs Bush-pea, is a small erect shrub growing from 60 cm to 1.5 m tall (Leigh et al., 1984; Harden, 1991; de Kok & West, 2003). The ‘egg and bacon’ orange and yellow pea-shaped flowers form dense clusters at the ends of branches (DECC, 2005). Flowering occurs mainly from October to December, but has also been observed in autumn (Leigh et al., 1984; de Kok & West, 2003; DECC, 2005). Fruiting occurs from January to March (Leigh et al., 1984; de Kok & West, 2003). Conservation status Budawangs Bush-pea is listed as vulnerable. This species is eligible for listing as vulnerable under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cwlth) (EPBC Act) as, prior to the commencement of the EPBC Act, it was listed as vulnerable under Schedule 1 to the Endangered Species Protection Act 1992 (Cwlth). The species is also listed as vulnerable under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 (NSW). Distribution and habitat Budawangs Bush-pea is confined to the Budawang Range, Southern Tablelands, NSW (Harden, 1991). The species is known from only four sites in Morton and Budawang National Parks – Mt Currockbilly, Bhundoo Hill, Burrumbeet Brook and Corang Trig (DECC, 2005).

John Vincent of Sutton Forrest. Mr Cartwright was first based at Arkstone Forest near Boorowa; by the end of 1838 Queanbeyan and Yass had become separate parishes, the Rev. Charles F. Brigstocke being appointed to Yass where he remained for 20 years. The foundation stone of the present church of St. Clement (designed by Edmund Blacket & later enlarged) was laid in 1847.     ACT Government Submission The House of Representatives Select Committee on Regional Australia: Inquiry into Regional Australia Introduction The ACT Government has a long-standing commitment to supporting regional development, including strong support for efficient and consistent service delivery to ensure the best social, health and economic outcomes for the regional communities of the Canberra Region. The Canberra Region is a strong, growing economy within Australia’s most geographically diverse natural environment. It encompasses the Australian Capital Territory, south-western slopes of NSW, the NSW southern tablelands, south coast, snowy mountains and NSW high country. The vibrant regional economy is underpinned by transport connections to Canberra and Sydney, offering diverse agricultural and tourism opportunities as well as collaborations between public and private sectors.
