Acquisitions since this guide was compiled are listed in the Acquisitions section of the Society journal (The South Australian Genealogist). The Society Library has a number of microfiche and microfilm (16mm and 35mm) viewers. There is no charge for the use of the equipment. Reader-printers are available for taking prints from the microform, both from microfiche and 16mm and 35mm microfilm. Staff assistance may be required where microfilm is involved. The cost of prints is currently $0.70 each. Some records are marked (in storage) which indicates that they are not in the fiche/film drawers in the library area but may be retrieved if required. These records should also be accessible on the internet on one or more of the subscriptions sites the Society subscribes to.
