First stage of Q-Fiesta An oral quiz competition named Q-Fiesta for grade 10 and 11 school students was arranged by the E-Week committee. This competition was conducted in the schools of six districts such as Trincomalee, Mannar, , , Mullaitivu and . The first level of this quiz was conducted through a written exam in each districts mentioned above. All the schools were requested to send 5 students for the written exam. A set of five different papers were distributed to each school and the average of those five papers was calculated and the top six schools were selected to the second level which was an oral quiz. More than 60 schools participated in this competition. Second stage of Q-Fiesta The second level of this competition was an oral quiz which was also held at the district itself. Four students from a school participated in the oral quiz. This oral quiz consisted of three rounds. First round was the individual round. Each and every one should face an oral question. Second round was the clue based round. Students were expected to find the answer using the given four clues and the final round was the buzzer round. Questions were asked and the team which pressed the buzzer got the chance to answer. Totally thirty six schools were selected for the second stage. Those selected schools are listed below

Those twelve schools were divided into 2 groups. Two schools from the same district were called and they were divided into A and B group using toss. Three schools were selected from A group and 3 schools were selected from B group by an oral quiz. This oral quiz consisted of three rounds. The first round was the audio based round. Audios were played and questions were asked based on those audios. The team which pressed the buzzer first got the chance to answer. The second round is a clue based round. Students were expected to find the answer using the given five clues. The team which pressed the buzzer first got the chance to answer. And the third round was the buzzer round. Questions were asked and the team which pressed the buzzer got the chance to answer.

Another set of oral quiz was conducted to those selected six schools and two schools were selected for the finals. This quiz also consisted of three rounds. The first round was the video based round where videos were displayed and questions were asked regarding the displayed videos. The team which pressed the buzzer got the chance to answer. Second round was the wheel spinning round. All students were expected to spin the virtual wheel on the screen and they were given with a question from the topic which they got from the virtual wheel. Third round was the biding round. Number from 1 to 8 were displayed on the screen. Students were expected to select a number and before asking the question they should bid an amount for that question. They will get double the points if the answer is correct and the same amount of bid will be reduced if the answer is wrong.

Grand finale At last two schools were selected for the finals which also consisted of three rounds. The first round was the MCQ based questions. Students were given with a question and four answers. They were expected to choose the correct answer.

The second round was the rapid fire round. Here the students were expected to spin the virtual wheel and a set of questions will be asked for 60 seconds based on the obtained topic from the virtual wheel. And the third round was the buzzer round. Questions were asked and the team which pressed the buzzer got the chance to answer.
