Camille Ilo Veyou ILO VEYOU est un album acoustique. Acoustique car tous les instruments qui y figurent sont des instru- ments acoustiques, vivants, qui vibrent par le souffle et l’élan des muscles : voix, cordes, tuba, cors, contrebasse, guitare, piano...Acoustique parce que les lieux sont eux aussi vivants.

ILO VEYOU est un album live. “ Chaque chanson du disque correspond à un moment. J’ai chanté et les instrumentistes ont joué sans clic (métronome), sans casque, afin de mieux partager l’énergie du mo- ment et des lieux. Seule entorse au “dogme” (!), je me suis démultipliée pour créer ma propre chorale d’enfants. Ils étaient là en moi. Ils ne demandaient qu’à sortir s’ébrouer. Les sages, les cancres, les braillards et les enfants de chœur.”

ILO VEYOU est le fruit d’une collaboration avec des musiciens et techniciens précieux. Clément Ducol a créé les arrangements pour quatuor à cordes. Clément joue également de la guitare et du piano préparé. Le piano préparé est un piano que l’on “prépare” en appliquant sur ses cordes des pinces à linges, bouts de carton, visses, trombones... pour lui donner un son brinquebalant, retors, saturé ... L’un des grands pionniers du piano préparé est John Cage.
