Introduction iv Introduction This agreement between SOLAS and Cork Education and Training Board (Cork ETB) sets out the context, strategic priorities and ETB contribution to achievement of key national further education and training (FET) sector targets over the period 2018-20. It also articulates the ETB’s commitment to supporting the implementation of a range of national policies and strategies relevant to FET provision and identifies the key risks and challenges which must be mitigated and addressed in order to ensure successful delivery of this agreement. The agreement is the product of extensive dialogue and engagement between SOLAS and Cork ETB, with independent input and validation from a panel of experts with an understanding of Irish and international good practice in further education and training systems.
