Tiger Stadium (Baton Rouge, La.) 1. LSU's Game Captains LSU FOOTBALL POSTGAME NOTES #9 LSU vs. Arkansas November 14, 2015 – Tiger Stadium (Baton Rouge, La.) 1. LSU’s game captains were 33 Jamal Adams 6 Brandon Harris, 65 Jerald Hawkins, 11 Lamar Louis and 28 Jalen Mills. 2. LSU won the toss and deferred to the second half. LSU defended the north end zone to begin the game. 3. The Tigers dropped to 27-3 following a loss under head coach Les Miles. This is just the third time Miles has lost back-to-back games while at LSU. 4. LSU has only allowed 17 first quarter points all season and the Tigers have outscored their opponents 63-17 in the opening quarter. 5. The LSU defense limited Arkansas to 141 passing yards, which was the Razorbacks’ lowest output of the season. Individual 1. RB Leonard Fournette rushed for 91 yards on 19 carries. He now has 2,508 rushing yards for his career. a. Fournette rushed for a 2-yd touchdown with 11:10 remaining in the third quarter. It was his 17 rushing touchdown this season. He is now tied with Charles Alexander for the third-most rushing touchdowns in a single season. b. Fournette has now rushed for a touchdown in 11 straight games. 2. QB Brandon Harris threw for 271 yards and one touchdown. He finished the game 21 of 35, which were both career highs. a. His 5-yd pass to Dupre was his 11 touchdown pass of the year. 3. WR Malachi Dupre accounted for 109 yards on a career-high eight receptions. His touchdown reception with 0:24 remaining in the half was his 6th touchdown reception of the year. 4. LB Lamar Louis led the Tigers with a career-high nine tackles. 5. LB Deion Jones finished the game with seven tackles and two tackles for a loss. Jones also recorded one sack. 6. DT Christian LaCouture forced his first career fumble on Arkansas’ opening drive. LaCouture also tied his career high with six tackles. 7. S Jamal Adams recovered a fumble for the first time in his career. Adams also intercepted Arkansas’ Brandon Allen for his fourth interception this season. 8. DE Arden Key recorded a sack for the Tigers. Key now has 3.5 sacks for the season. .
