The data have been obtained and XML-annotated using the Python program- ming language and the libraries lyricsmas- ter/yattag. The corpus has been preprocessed and basic statistical data have been gener- ated by the XSL transformation. The diacritic restoration has been carried out in the Slovo Majstor and LeXimir tools (the latter appli- cation has also been used for generating the frequency analysis). The extraction of socio- cultural topics has been performed using the Unitex software, whereas the prevailing top- ics have been visualised with the TreeCloud software. Het inspireren en verbinden van deze grote groep is een uitdaging in een samenleving die steeds meer gericht is op het individu. Tennissers delen steeds meer hun eigen tijd in, onder hun eigen voorwaarden. De samenleving verandert en de KNLTB verandert mee. Als aanjager van tennis in Nederland wil de KNLTB zo veel mogelijk mensen meer laten tennissen en er voor zorgen dat zij dat ook blijven doen. Dit doen we door alle partijen die bij onze sport betrokken zijn te inspireren en te verbinden, door de zichtbaarheid van en de beleving van tennis te vergroten én daarnaast goed te luisteren naar de wensen en behoeften van onze tennissers en verenigingen. Met grote topevenementen, als het ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament en het Libéma Open, vergroten we de populariteit en zichtbaarheid van de tennissport. Door de inzet van verschillende communicatiekanalen brengen we de beleving rond het nationale en internationale toptennis voor het voetlicht en zijn we tevens gids in tennisland. Successen van tennishelden motiveren en inspireren, maar het werkt ook andersom: toptennis is gebaat bij een brede basis.

We made significant progress in our work to grow tennis in Britain last year, the highlights of which are outlined in this report. As you will read in my introduction to the Finance and Governance Report, it was a year of transition for the LTA, where we laid down the foundations for our new long-term strategy published earlier this year. I am proud to have been able to contribute to this work since commencing my role as Chairman in September. My appointment followed that of Scott Lloyd as our new CEO at the start of the year, forming a new leadership team for a new era for our sport.
