Far South Coast Dressage Association December 2014 Newsbook! Email: [email protected] Website: www.fscda.com.au

FSCDA 2014 Committee What a fabulous weekend it for the FSCDA annual Championships held for the first

President time at Cobargo Showground on the 29th - 30th November. The event received record Tanya Rutter entries with riders travelling from as far afield as Moruya, Cooma and Mallacoota together Ph: (02) 6494 7265 [email protected] with a large contingent of local riders.

Vice President Last year the club broke through the 100 entries barrier for first time for our Championship Paul Phelan event and this included our Prix Caprilli and Dressage Trail Classes (17 plus the 85 dressage Ph: (02) 6493 6223 [email protected] entries). 2014 we again had 102 entries but this time all entries are for our traditional Dressage classes only. Junior Vice President Jess Coleman Ph: 0400 043 889 The club was fortunate to secure the [email protected] services of two highly accredited judges, Leslie Gillis and Liz Pugh, who made the Secretary Trish Hayes journey down from Canberra to officiate Ph: (02) 6492 1459 over the two days of competition. Thank you [email protected] also to Hetty Munda who stepped in at the Treasurer last minute to cover Leslie's arena after her Anne-Marie Moxey Ph: (02) 6492 3041 very unfortunate accident. I know you all [email protected] join me in wishing Leslie a speedy recovery and we hope her experience will not deter Publicity Officer vacant her from coming back to judge for us again in the future.

Event Secretary Saturday saw the running of the Preliminary Championship and the Musical Rides including Anne-Marie Moxey Freestyles, Pas de Deux and Pas de Trois. There were some great themes and costumes on Assistant: Sue Hergenhan the day. I thought I would take the time (and space) to share as many of their Judge Co-ordinator introductions with you as I can so you can all appreciate the effort that went into their Pip Collins performances. Assistant: Wendy Croese Our trio, who are newcomers to Freestyle, put a lot of thought into their routine. Committee Members Lucie Phelan, Jenny "Angela Keith, Els Paijmans and Markov are going to perform the following Pas de Pheeney, Jo Oastler & Trois with their 3 mares - Possum, Bella and Shemesh. They were a little concerned about Rebecca Breust. how the mares would behave together - and felt that the "Night Mares" was a good name for them! This lead Angela to think of a piece of music by Wagner called "Ride of the Public Officer Sandra Kain Valkyries" . The Ride of the Valkyries in Norse mythology, tells the Arena Set-up story of one of the twelve handmaids of Odin who ride Paul & Lucie Phelan their horses over the field of battle and escort the souls of slain heroes to Valhalla. Website Managers Kim Gardner & Angela The women's version today is a little different , but does Keith involve the story of a small boy called Jeff, who falls asleep and has a nightmare that he is taken off by the Catering Committee Valkyries - the wild winged women - but he is woken up Les Hayes, Liz Pincini, Rebecca Breust & Darrel by the Wiggles and is happy to realise it was all a bad dream. Moxey Perhaps this is a wish by all women - that wars are just a bad dream."

It was a great routine with the girls scoring the highest percentage on the day. Not bad for a first effort! Can't wait to

see next year's routine.

Corrine also rode an individual Freestyle. Corinne Markov got her first horse when she was 40, although has loved horses and has ridden all her life. This mare, Shemesh (meaning sun in Hebrew) , is 9 years old - a x stockhorse by Mick Otton's Wiljohn Crab from Lady Moran of Bemboka and bred by Corinne. Shemesh has been a very difficult mare and it is fantastic to see how she is learning to be a partner after years of trying to bite Corinne every time she put her legs on! We have only been working on this routine a couple of weeks and this song is sung by a beautiful Israeli artist called Noa - it is called "I don't know" - and Corinne says -" the older she gets, the less she feels she knows!" I was interested to learn that Shemesh is by Crab as so is Tamaru Sunshine (Sunny) also from a thoroughbred mare.

Young Paige Moxey was riding Brampton Halloween, know as Harry Potter, so chose a Halloween theme complete with attached spiders! Paige has been riding Harry Potter for a little over a year now. Harry was only 3 when Paige got him, which was a challenge considering Paige was only 6 at the time. They have had their ups and downs, but have really started to form a great little partnership over the last few months. Paige's sheer determination to beat her sister has been the main motivator, and in order to achieve this Paige and Harry have been working on their canter - mum is hoping "control" will come soon! Paige and Harry are riding a preliminary freestyle themed around Halloween. With a paddock name of Harry Potter and a show name of Brampton Halloween, there really was no other choice. Paige's main interest was the costume, lots of spiders and sparkle. Harry's main interest has always been grass, and considering the size of him at the moment he looks just like a pumpkin, which fits the theme beautifully.

Pip has battled for some time to convince her musician husband to help her with a Freestyle routine. "Pip has been attempting to get a freestyle together for about 3yrs. Her other half is a musician...say no more (you know how the plumbers house is the last to have the plumbing work attended to...) Anyway neither of us are very technologically talented and haven’t managed to produce a CD of music to ride today’s freestyle Tabla (dressage pony) comes from a ‘T’ line of horses. His grandfather was Thafma (pronounced Tarfma) which is the Greek word for miracle, his son Tihar is out of a mare named Lightning. Tihar is an Indian ‘festival of the lights’ and a tabla is an Indian drum. Soooo... in lieu of a CD today we have Trapper on electric drums with an Indian tabla feel. This has not been rehearsed..... Tabla may even have a melt down. Now....this is totally against the rules of Freestyle to have live accompaniment so Pip will not be in the running for a placing, but Tabla’s reactions may make the performance entertaining?! Pip could not scratch because Anne Marie put the fear of God into her saying she had better not scratch because the Freestyles were programmed so as not to clash with the other tests Pip & Tabla were entering. So here we go ...... I hope the rider stays on the horse and the horse stays in the arena!" Needless to say Pip managed Tabla beautifully and received a very impressive 61.84% (HC) from the judges. Jon was heard to say afterwards something to the effect of "that's easy, why didn't you tell me that's all you wanted!" I am sure many of the ladies out there can relate to Pip's frustration but we will all look forward to next year's CD.

FSCDA have Hetty to thank for encouraging and supporting our riders over the past few years to have a go at Freestyle. She has kindly donated her time on a number of occasions to travel down from Moruya to run Freestyle clinics or just to help rider perfect their routines. Here is a little background from our Freestyle guru. "I first started riding freestyles more than 15 years and for the next five years my best friend and I had lots of fun doing Pas De Deux. We even did freestyle at Rosehill Racecourse on Golden Slipper Day, as a demonstration. Our highlight was doing freestyle with seven riders to the music of The Magnificent Seven. Khossie came into my life six years ago and I am enjoying every minute spent with him. He is a 16.1 hh thoroughbred and he will be 21 years old next January. He is a very well mannered horse and even after weeks without being

ridden, he is gentle but finds it difficult to find second gear. I found the music for this freestyle on my favourite website some four months ago. Unfortunately soon after I started work on my pattern I became ill and for the next eight weeks was unable to ride. The first day back into the saddle was very slow, Khossie did not want to go past first gear. We were both very unfit and it is only these last few days that I have finished putting the pattern together for today. As you can see I like bling and have had a lot of fun putting my costume together, not necessarily true Spanish, sort of a cross between matador and Spanish. I hope you enjoy our freestyle as much as we will enjoy performing for you."

The second highest score went to the lovely Pas de Deux performed by Trish Hayes riding Clayton Little Lola and Colleen Meredith on Drifter's Gold (Nugget). Colleen and Nugget have worked really hard developing their partnership over the past 3 years. He has grown from a very timid 3 year old to a confident, handsome, trustworthy gentleman thanks to Colleens and patience. Trish and Lola have also been a team for 3 years. Both strong willed and determined (did Trish write this???), the journey has been full of ups and downs. Their partnership is gaining strength and trust with each lesson, outing and quality time at home. Inspiration for our freestyle came to Colleen and I when we were having a lesson with Pip at Bemboka earlier this year. We had talked for a long time about what we might create. Both Nugget and Lola were at the float together on a warm sunny morning. Colleen and I both commented on the great likeness but contrast between both horses. Just like "Night and Day" Recalling the old song, we started thinking...... Found the old movie and became quite inspired by the lovely old song and great sound of the big old band. Both horses really, really like each other and we have had many hours of laughs, mistakes, costume design failures but most of all we have had a huge amount of fun together preparing for today.

Naturally the routine had to start with a glass of bubbles to get the ladies "in the mood'!

At the time of finalising the newsletter I had not received the requested overview from our remaining musical entrants.

This year the Club introduced the Brian Mallyon Memorial People's Choice Award for the best Musical test. Mr Mal, as he was affectionately known, was well respected and much loved in the local horse community. He was the maestro at the Club Championships since the introduction of the Freestyle section in 2010.

The inaugural award went to Trish Hayes and Colleen Meredith for their wonderful rendition of Night and Day riding their black and palomino horses, Clayton Little Lola and Drifters Gold, respectively. It was a landslide decision not to detract from a number of other great routines on the day.

The lucky entry draw for voting, a bottle of Chivas Regal, Mr Mal's favourite drop, went to Darrell Moxey. Perhaps this was appropriate as the long suffering husband of our very devoted Treasurer, Event Secretary, deviser of scoring programs, and the thousand other roles AMM takes on in helping to organise the FSCDA Championships. I am sure Darrell needed a little tipple after the weekend!

Freestyle competitors with judges Liz Pugh & Leslie Gillis (absent: Di Walker, Angela Keith & Els Paijmans, Pip Collins)

We had 16 entries in our Preliminary class which was offered on the Saturday this year to encourage riders who are becoming more established at the Preparatory level the opportunity to make the move to Preliminary. We also had a couple of Novice riders stepping back to participate. Congratulations to Jayne Edmondson who not only moved up on the day but placed second in the 1.3 with a 10th in the 1.2. Elsa Dawson won her way out of Preparatory at the last qualifying event held at Bemboka. Elsa decided to enter Preliminary "to have a go" and achieved two very good 5th places. In the 1.2 it was on a count back from Di Walker riding Shamazan Morning Star (6th place) both on 60%. There was only 0.38% separating 2nd - 6th places with Duncan McLaughlin and Kholonial Sebastian taking second place on count back with Jess Coleman and Tamaru Sunshine. The 2014 Southern Farm Supplies Preliminary Championship went to Tanya Rutter and Artistry who won both the qualifying events. It was a delightful surprise as I was just so pleased that after 6 years since taking over the ride on Arty we actually both finally made it to the FSCDA Championships together. I felt a little like Dr Kerry Mack who came third at Equitana in the Grand Prix Freestyle a couple of weeks back. When interviewed by Roger Fitzhardinge after her test Kerry said she was just so delighted to be able to compete with her best mate as she had a titanium hip and Mayfield Pzazz, now 20 years old, had undergone stem cell therapy. Arty (now 18) and I were only competing at Preliminary not Grand Prix (well maybe next year!). My replacements are less robust and Arty receives regular treatment to help him with his navicular syndrome and pedal osteitis, but I do understand exactly what she means.

Some of our Preliminary Competitors with Liz & Leslie, Judy Bourke, Gayl Dobbin, Jess Coleman, Artistry, Tanya Rutter, Duncan Mclaughlin, Kholonial Sebastian, Elsa Dawson & Mikala Walters.

Arty is the second oldest horse competing on the weekend (behind Khossie) and the horse with the longest most consistent attendance record with the club. He debuted at FSCDA dressage with his previous owner Sheree Arnts in 2005. We then purchased him for Jess in 2007 and she rode him till late 2009 with Carol Cornwall taking the ride for the Championships that year. The next 3 years saw Arty and I competing during the year but missing the Championships each time, twice because I broke my ankle and once when he stood on a piece of wire in the paddock imbedding it into his sole a few days before the event. Pip took the ride for the 2012 Championships and Jess rode him again last year just for the Trail Class as he was rehabilitating. During all these years and despite many obstacles he has been consistently competitive. This year has been challenging for both of us but we finally got there! He really is my best mate, excluding John of course although John may doubt that!! I only hope we can spend a few more years enjoying some lower level dressage together.

Preliminary Reserve Champion was Duncan McLaughlin riding Kholonial Sebastian. It is also of note that Dunc has played a large part in helping Arty return to competition in recent times. Dunc was also a great sponsor of the club during 2013 donating a free equine massage valued at $150 as a lucky entry prize for each month's competition. I know the grateful recipients were most impressed with his skills. Dunc and Seb also won the Preliminary Championship the week before at Eurobodalla Dressage. Hopefully a few more of our members will be able to support the EDA next year especially as there won't be the clash with Equitana.

Saturday night the Club held the Christmas Party and Annual Presentation Awards. We have had more members actively supporting the club this year so in recognition it was decided to offer some complimentary champagne and nibbles on the night instead of singling out any one member for Club Member of the Year. It is now more rightly Club of the Year!

A huge thank you to Linda Stanley who took on the role of caterer for the nibbles. It was an excellent spread which we hope Linda can be persuaded to repeat next year! I certainly didn't need dinner afterwards.

The 2014 Rankin Builders Preparatory High Point Score winner was Rebecca Kelf riding Sirrocco. They were very consistent performers during all their outings together with us this year.

It came down to the last competition for the Runner-up Preparatory High Point Score with Colleen Meredith and Drifter's Gold in the lead but unable to attend the last qualifying event at Bemboka. Elsa Dawson entered riding Benzabeel and with a win and third place took the Runner- up for 2014. Both Sirrocco and Benzabeel are recent off the track proving they can have a very productive career after racing. There were also a number of other competitors over the weekend, including Artistry, Sir William of Candelo, TRT Mataio that I know of who initially started their careers on the racetrack.

The 2014 R & R Breust Rural Contracting Junior Preparatory High Point Score was won by Paige Moxey riding Brampton Halloween. Harry is proving to be a ripper of a pony with Paige moving up to compete at Preliminary level during the later part of the year and doing some very nice work.

Alice Dein riding the lovely Annichje Van Gelder was Runner-up Junior Preparatory High Point Score. I believe Alice also did a Preliminary test recently and will be stepping up to that level next year. Looks like we will need the Masters class across all levels now for us "old girls" to have any chance of a ribbon in the future.

The 2014 LJ Hooker - Bega Preliminary High Point Score went to Leigh Richardson riding Hollands Bend Fidelia with Jess Coleman and Tamaru Sunshine a close Runner-up. This was another one that came down to the last qualifier with Leigh narrowly in the lead but unable to attend due to a paddock injury just before the event. With good competition on the day

Jess was unable to close the gap.

Leigh and Del have had a great year winning both their Preliminary tests at Hawkesbury Championships in June. Placed a 3rd, 4th and a 5th at Young Dressage Championships. Placed 5th at the Canberra Classic last March and were Champion Led Show Hunter, Champion All Breeds Led then Supreme Led at Bemboka Show. At the same show Champion Show Hunter Under Saddle.

Jess started the year in Preparatory with Sunny after a nasty fall from her previous mount in January affected her confidence. They quickly moved up to Preliminary at their second dressage competition together and have established a lovely partnership including some very successful outings at Pony Club with ODE, jumping, novelty and riding class wins. They came away from Eden Gymkhana with the Peter Sever's Perpetual Barrel Racing Trophy.

The 2014 2EC and Power FM Novice High Point Score was won by Sandra Kain riding Kitty Kat. They made the move to Novice this year after a very successful year in Preliminary during 2013.

Runner-up Novice High Point Score went to Lucie Phelan and Cicada Lodge Rhythm N Blues. Lucie and Buddy have been re-establishing their partnership after an accident last year set their journey up the ranks back a little.

The 2014 Bega Valley Meats Elementary High Point Score winner was Jade Moxey and Miss Dalliance. They had a great year after moving up from Novice where they cleaned up in 2013. Jade and Dallie attended the EA NSW Young Rider and Pony Championships held near Young in October. Jade had some outstanding results including: 1st Novice 2.3 Young Rider Pony 2nd Novice Pony Young Rider Freestyle 3rd Novice Pony Freestyle 5th Novice 2.3 Pony, Elementary 3.2 Pony Young Rider and Elementary 3.3 Pony Young Rider. This had Jade equal 3rd for overall Novice Champion a huge result for a talented young lady and her beautiful mare Miss Dalliance! It was most unfortunate that Dallie cut her nose requiring stitches in the week before the Championships and was unable to join us. I believe they had a wonderful Freestyle routine perfected that we will have to wait to next year to now see. Dallie's sidelining did have a silver lining at least for the club as Jade proved to be an invaluable help over the weekend. She worked tirelessly both days helping with photography, test collection, scoring and at all the presentations. Her young mind is a godsend for an old girl like me!

Runner-up Elementary High Point Score went to Sue Schepisi and Friso van Gelder. This is another combination that achieved great results away during 2014. They competed at the Hawkesbury Championships earlier in the year and recently at the ACT Dressage Assoc. where they won their Elementary test with an excellent score of 60.9% achieved in the pouring rain and thunder. The remainder of the event was cancelled due to the weather. Friso always looks stunning in the arena and was certainly an imposing presence with his black rug on in his yard on Saturday afternoon.

The 2014 Dial Before You Dig 1100 Medium High Point Score was awarded to Hetty Munda and Windalee Khoster. Hetty and Khossie made the move from Elementary and it is lovely to see a combination at this level. Unfortunately the very lovely Anya who was entered with her rider Rohan Mashado had to cancel at the last minute as a paddock accident saw Anya receive a cut on her side right where the girth sits.

The Les Hayes Automotive Most Improved Rider 2014 was Victoria Smith. Tori has been working hard all year and has consistently improved. This is another combination that had to cancel at the last minute when Smit'n G'Kar tried to do a nose dive in the paddock and didn't quite perfect the move.

The R & R Breust Rural Contracting Most Improved Junior Rider was presented to Alice Dein. Alice is developing a lovely partnership with

Annie. They are definitely a combination to watch in the future. The Club's Most Eager to Attend Awards went to Lucie Phelan, Jade Moxey and Jess Coleman who competed at every FSCDA and Bemboka Show Society dressage event offered during the year. Lucie also attended every Dressage Challenge Plus event which is a wonderful support to the club.

Club Encouragement Awards were presented to Colleen Meredith, Pauline Blair and Sasha Mott who all showed

great improvement during the year.

The Most Versatile Junior Award was presented to Tyler Bruest. Unfortunately Tyler broke his arm in the lead up to the Championships in a non horse related accident. Tyler has a lovely new mare Bonnie who will be a great partner for him in 2015.

Sister Claire Breust received the Biggest Smile Award which from the attached photo I am sure you can see why. I must also say Claire is my new best friend after asking me on Sunday where my sister Jess was!

On Sunday the Preparatory, Novice, Elementary and Medium Championships were determined with good fields across the levels.

The 2014 Eagle Embroidery Preparatory Champion went to Jayne Edmondson riding Ego Chaos who also won both tests on the day. With a win earlier in the year this now takes Jayne out of Preparatory but given her second place in the 1.3 the day before I don't think this

is going to be a problem at all.

Trish Hayes and Clayton Little Lola were Reserve Preparatory Champion. Trish did some lovely work despite having to ride her second test in the pouring rain (you can see the rain tumbling down in the photo). A great reflection of Lola's Waler heritage to soldier on regardless of the conditions and to Trish's determination. I must say when grouping the photos together it was easy to pick out Trish in her very distinctive purple jacket adorned with plenty of bling!! The Preparatory level was very consistent with both judges awarding the same position to seven of the nine competitors.

Preparatory Competitors: Ego Chaos, Jayne Edmondson, Clayton Little Lola, Trish Hayes, Colleen Meredith, Kim Gardner, Corinne Markov, Pauline Blair & Leone Creamer (absent Rebecca Breust & Sasha Mott).

R & R Breust Rural Contracting Junior Preparatory Champion went to Alice Dein riding Annichje Van Gelder. Alice

definitely showed that she has been consistently improving all year.

Junior Preparatory Group: Annechje Van Gelder, Alice Dein, Peanut, Claire Breust, Brampton Halloween & Paige Moxey.

Four year old Claire Breust riding Peanut were the Reserve Junior Preparatory Champion. This combination was ably assisted by mum who deserves an award for sheer stamina. Not only did Bec compete herself but she lead Claire around both her

Preparatory tests. The 2014 Candelo Stockfeeds Novice Champion was won by Mikala Walters riding Hobbit. Mikala made the long trip down from Nimmitabel to ride with us on the weekend. This combination has been competing in both Preliminary and Novice during the year with success. I believe Mikala's new tactic is to sing nursery rhymes to Hobbit during their tests to keep him focused. Humpty Dumpty and Mary Had a Little Lamb were heard coming from the arena on Saturday. I know their Freestyle routine was excellent with the music chosen really

matching his movement and Hobbit seemed to be enjoying it.

Jess Coleman and Tamaru Sunshine were the Reserve Novice Champion. Jess hasn't competed at this level for many years and certainly not with Sunny. She thought she would give it a go on the day and did very well for their first effort together. Pip did mention something about the Championships not being the best place to practice something new. I believe we will see this combination staying in Novice for next year and putting some polish on their movements.

Novice Competitors: Hobbit, Mikala Walters, Jess Coleman, Tamaru Sunshine, Gayl Dobbin, Sandra Kain, Kitty Kat (absent: Judy Bourke)

The 2014 Pell- Rixon Bega Elementary Champion was a closely fought contest determined by count back with only one point separating the winner Sue Schepisi on the stunning Friesian stallion Friso Van Gelder with Leigh Richardson and Quarryview Hercules Reserve Elementary Champion. I have mentioned Friso's efforts in 2014 previously. They have certainly been improving this year, especially considering Sue had a hip replacement mid-year. She has done very well to get back in the saddle so competitively so quickly. Leigh and Herc were Elementary Champions at Eurobodalla Dressage the previous week. Elementary Competitors: Friso Van Gelder, Sue Schepisi, Pip Collins, Leigh Richardson & Quarryview Hercules The 2014 Bega & Cobargo Veterinary Hospitals Medium Champion went to Hetty Munda riding Windalee Khoster.

The Judges Encouragement Awards sponsored by Cobargo Co- operative Society for the weekend went to Leone Creamer, a very inspiring competitor at 86 years of age, and to Rebecca Breust another rider who continues to improve.

It is interesting to note that our youngest competitor (Claire) was 4 and our oldest (Leone) 86 years of age showing that dressage really is a sport that spans the ages.

Leone with Claire after their Preparatory tests.

Lucky entry prizes were sponsored by Cobargo Co-operative Society, Horse & General Repair - Tennille Schaefer, Littleton Cafe and NuWalla Contracting as well as a number supplied by the Club. Congratulations to Corrine Markov, Mikala Walters, Els Paijmans, Sue Schepisi, Amanda DeLattorre and Kim Gardner.

A huge thank you to 2EC & Power FM for the donation of their marquee for the event which was greatly appreciated.

Please don't forget to support our very generous sponsors who make our Championship such a great event.

Please mention FSCDA when you go into their business and show your appreciation.

Kim Gardner receiving her bridle bag generously donated by Tennille Schaefer from Horse & General Repair.

Sue modelling her new flyveil, Corinne had to wrestle the Lindt ball from Jade, Mikala with her gift voucher from Cobargo Co-operative Society presented by Jade.

It was wonderful having June Tarlinton doing the commentary over the weekend. June kept us up to date with who was competing, plus background on competitors. Not only did she commentate but also spent a great deal of time helping the invaluable Jemma Elliot (AMM's mum) with the scoring. These two ladies took so much pressure off the organising committee over the two days.

As mentioned previously young Jade Moxey was unfortunately unable to ride with Dallie out injured but what a treasure she proved to be. It must be something in the family genes with Jemma, AMM and Jade all contributing so much to FSCDA all year. There are so many tasks they happily take on. They are also supported by Darrell who spent Sunday slaving over a hot stove with Mr Hayes feeding the hungry masses. The food supplied by our Sunday team of Les, Richard and Darrell was excellent and went down a treat. I have to say they were the nicest bacon and egg rolls I have ever had at an event! Thank you for all your support this year.

A huge thank you to Angela Keith who not only put in a tremendous effort with Kim Gardner earlier in the year setting up the new website but also worked tirelessly as club photographer. It takes a lot of time to not only take but also sort, upload and share the photographs from our events. A picture paints a thousand words and adds so much to our club communication.

FSCDA will now break for the summer returning in March 2015 with an official as well as a restricted competition to be held at Cobargo Showground. Date to be confirmed as we are hoping to include a Judge's & Rider's Seminar on the Saturday. Pencil in the AGM date - 17th February 2015 details closer to the date.

Bega Show Society will be offering a dressage ring at the Far South Coast National Show on the 22 February 2015. Offered are Preparatory C, Preliminary 1.1 & 1.3 plus Novice 2.1. Entries close 12 noon on Monday 16th February.

Colleen & Trish delighted with the Inaugural Mr Mal People's Choice Award & Darrell delighted to receive the bottle of Chivas, the lucky entry prize for voting & Mr Mal's favourite drop! So many great photos many of which can be found on the website thanks to Angela. Special mention also to the Breust family - R&R Breust Rural Contracting for so very generously sponsoring all our Junior Classes.

I hope you all have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. I look forward to seeing you all back in the saddle in 2015! Tanya
