Crystal has been on the Housing waiting list for three years and her situation has now become dire. Tonight, Crystal will have a temporary roof over her head - this had nothing to do with you, had nothing to do with your Housing minister and had nothing to do with anyone in your Government. It is because charity has stepped in. Crystal has only been offered a bed for two nights and she could be back in a tent as the temperature drops. This horrible situation has not only highlighted Crystal's impossible predicament, it has also shown what happens when you do not build the infrastructure that Tasmania needs. Your lack of empathy for Crystal's situation yesterday has only been matched by your lack of action to do anything to help her. Can you tell Tasmanians why even though you had firsthand knowledge about a very vulnerable woman in a very dangerous situation, sleeping in a tent next to a major highway, you did nothing?
