Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar Our partnership with ITC has scaled new territory with Founder Managing Trustee the establishment of new Livelihood Resource Centres Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled (LRC) in Kolar and Mysore. Our collaboraon with them in the 'Well-being out of Waste' (WOW) programme has yielded rich dividends. Segregaon of waste at source and recycling of dry waste has been ingrained into the psyche of the cizenry with the waste disposal mechanism of Bengaluru now aligned with environmental sustainability. Successfully implemented in 14 wards of Bengaluru, this programme is advancing full throle in several new wards. Focusing on our pan India vision for LRC, skilling and placement programmes have now been iniated in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand supported by the Government of Jharkhand. In all, 8 Livelihood Resource Centres have now been established across Karnataka and Jharkhand with several more on the anvil in Andhra Pradesh and other areas. In collaboraon with United Way of Bangalore and Applied Materials, we have inaugurated an RO water plant on 8th March which will supply pure drinking water to 12,000 people in 4 villages of Bangarpet Taluk, Kolar district.
