CFVG is the first French-Vietnamese co-operative organization in education. It was founded in 1992 by the Vietnamese government (Ministry of Education and Training) and the French government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and is operated by the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris Ile-de-France). Since 2005, CFVG is a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and has been awarded with EPAS accreditation for the forth consecutive time in 2017.

 ACADEMIC PROGRAM INFORMATION:

CFVG offers the 1st MBA program with International EPAS accreditation in Vietnam. It’s a tool to maximize all managerial potentials, a rigorous, but comprehensive curriculum on business administration with ideally mix profile in a class.

Our students: - Young professionals, teachers and high potential managers wishing to master advanced decision- making tools and techniques and get new career opportunities. - Executives wishing to update and consolidate their knowledge and have and in-depth understanding of all the business fields. - Engineers, lawyers, linguists with no economic background who want to acquire management techniques to take more responsibilities. Program structure:

Length of the whole program: 2 years (details as in the Program Structure provided) - 1st year (eligible for students of at least Master 1 level or equivalent): Management Fundamentals - 2nd year (eligible for students of at least Master 2 level or equivalent): Advanced courses, Choices of Specializations & Professional Dissertation. Teaching language: English (on both campuses) and French (only on Hanoi campus, 1st year if available)

A and culture class for exchange students (offered free of charge) could be organized (upon students’ demand) during their stay, to make the most of their period in Vietnam.

Class format: Lectures, tutorials, case studies, extensive group work, numerous oral presentations, final exam and/or individual assignment/ group project at the end of each module.

Attendance: Compulsory, usually counted as part of student’s final grade. An absence of more than one third of the total hours for lectures and tutorials in one module (including justified absences) is not accepted. Classes are held in the evenings and on some weekends (Monday to Friday, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and/ or Saturday morning & afternoon or Saturday afternoon & evening)

Grading: All modules are graded on a scale of 0 to 20. The minimum pass mark is 10/20. Otherwise, students must take the resit exam to valid this module.

Exchange students from Partner Schools can join our MBA program by semester (non-Degree seeking) or by a whole year (Degree seeking) Exchange students may choose to have a full program (= 30 ECTS credits per semester) or a mix, depending on their Home University requirements and the students’ abilities (Learning Agreement or Study Plan will be required)

 NOMINATION/ APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Fall semester 2018/ Whole academic year 2018-2019 Spring semester 2019

- 2nd year of MBA: Mid-September 2018 – end of July 2019 (including Integration day, resit exams and thesis working) st Exchange students of 1 year of MBA (level st Eligible for Master 1 or equivalent) or 2nd year of MBA Only exchange students of 1 year of (level Master 2 or equivalent) MBA (level Master 1 or equivalent)

Once nominated by their Home Institution, students need to complete the application as follows:

- Online registration at: https://www.cfvg.org/apply/ (open an account and then fill in a registration form: please choose the according campus: Hanoi / , "MBA" program)

- Fill out the form (in English) and after submission the application form in pdf will be sent to student email. (Note: the entrance examination is dedicated only to Vietnamese candidates. Foreign exchange students will be exempted from this exam. No registration fee is applied to foreign exchange students)

- Complete your application set, in addition to the fulfilled & signed registration form, Application with a scanned version of the following documents: procedure & Required  CV in English; documents  Motivation letter in English;  Scan of valid passport;  Identity photo (passport size, electronic format, high quality);  Valid English certificate with at least level B2 (CEFR) / 5.5 IELTS / 600 TOEIC / 61 TOEFL iBT)/ GMAT Score (if applicable);  Certificate of student's current academic level to CFVG (Master 1 or 2) (to be able to integrate into our MBA program at the exact level);  Academic transcripts of previous years at the Home Institution;

(The 2 last documents will be issued & certified by student’s Home University)

Acceptance Once the admission is approved by CFVG’s BOD, Acceptance letters will be sent to Letters students to apply for the Vietnamese visa (in scanned version)

CFVG’s All students at CFVG must respect seriously the rules mentioned in a Student Guide Regulations Book which will be sent to students before their study at CFVG.

- VISA procedure for exchange students is processed by CFVG

- Once the Acceptance letters were issued, students are required to inform CFVG logistics responsibles a flight information (air ticket) and a copy of passport. Students may need to contact:

* In case a student wants to come to Vietnam earlier, (s)he must keep CFVG informed to get advices before visa procedures. Visa  Visa procedures for students to CFVG Hanoi:

After receiving your plane ticket and passport, we will process and return you the visa authorization letter by email. You need to print and present it at the airport on both departure and arrive in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. The visa will be issued by the Vietnam Customs at the airport and will be affixed to your passport upon arrival at Noibai Hanoi or Tan Son Nhat Ho Chi Minh City. So, you don't have to go to the Vietnam Embassy in Paris.

You need to prepare 01 passport photo to receive visa from Vietnam Customs. You should pay your visa fee at approximately 150 USD.

Your visa is multiple entries type and valid for 6 month or one year period depending on your study plan at CFVG.

 Visa procedures for students to CFVG Ho Chi Minh City:

- After receiving your plane ticket and passport, we will process and return you the visa authorization letter by email. You need to print and submit it along with your passport to come to Vietnamese Embassy in your country. Your visa will be affixed to your passport.

Students will get a visa type "C" (non-tourist, non-professional, it's for students and for a duration from 6 to 12 months depending on their study duration at CFVG.

CFVG may help students to extend the visa after expiration for your study.
