Born and raised in Little Rock, Dandrea “Dee Dee” Jones has been singing since the tender age of two when she began traveling the world with her father Maestro Danny Jones. Growing up listening to gospel greats like The Clark Sisters and Andre Crouch, she was destined to have a love of music. Her raspy yet powerful voice helps her fulfill a ministry, and she feels blessed when people are blessed. In addition to her statewide following, Dee Dee recently stepped onto the national stage at the famous Apollo Theater in New York City where she competed and won 1st place on “Showtime at the Apollo.”

James Wells of White County Bluegrass plays at festivals throughout Arkansas. He has performed locally at Harding Place, Get Down Downtown, Beats & Eats and the Main Street Searcy Farmers’ Market. His musical style includes a variety of bluegrass, folk, classic country and classic rock. James is also the leader of the WoodSongs SongFarmers Chapter of Searcy. The group will soon be scheduling free monthly gatherings of local musicians that are open to the public. Jason Coleman is a Searcy native, Harding University graduate, music producer and local worship leader who has been performing in and around the White County area for many years. With a strong voice and natural guitar skills, his acoustic sound is stripped of polish and production and focuses more on the songs themselves rather than the gimmicks. With a blend of Americana, pop, red-dirt country, gospel, folk, and roots-rock, Jason will fit the bill for a smooth, laid back good time.

Golden Rule is a group of local musicians who were brought together because of their dedication to the Searcy community and their love of music. With the guidance of a solid mission statement, the group looks forward to showcasing their musical stylings for the first time as the Golden Rule at Get Down Downtown. Treating others as they would wish to be treated, Golden Rule brings a wonderful array of great classic sing-along songs that are just fun. Their song list includes 80s pop and rock that will prove to be fun for the whole family.

White County Star Steppers • Saturday 2:00 Pm

The White County Star Steppers has the distinction of being Searcy’s first organized line dance group. Formed in early 2010 as an outgrowth of a continuing education class hosted by ASU-Searcy, the group dances for fun and for fitness. Blending classic and contemporary choreography, the group entertains at various civic activities and community events. White County Star Steppers will be performing in front of the First Security Bank Stage on the Courthouse Square.

Anna Brinker • Friday 5:00 pm

Anna Brinker, originally from Bald Knob but currently living in Stuttgart, is a singer, and musician. She started singing as a young girl and learned how to play the guitar at 13. Her biggest influence is her father, Bill Scranton, who sang and played guitar to recordings of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck and some of the other country music superstars. Anna has played several venues across the state of Arkansas. She began her solo acoustic act after opening for Jeff Bates in 2013 and has performed countless shows since.

Sam Shupak • Friday 6:00 pm

Sam Shupak was born and raised in the piney woods of deep east Texas. He developed a love of music, picked up a guitar and began singing in front of an audience. In 2015, Sam toured as the opening act of the Yee Yee Nation Tour with Granger Smith which gave him a little bit of music know-how and a lot of commitment to pursue music as a career. He bounced between Texas and Nashville where he wrote songs, recorded music and kept busy playing more than 100 dates a year. Watch for Sam’s debut album to be released soon.
