Did you know? Many museums offer "Suggested" admission (also known as "Pay What You Wish"). This means that you give what you wish for entry—even if the amount is less than the suggested admission.

When standing in the ticket line, you may see terms such as "Suggested Donation" or "Pay-As-You-Wish" written above the recommended entrance fee.

The Studio Museum, Queens Museum of Art, and Brooklyn Museum all allow visitors to pay whatever they can afford. Check out more low-cost museums at the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs' website!
