1. Purpose of Report/Recommendations
1.1 To inform Members of Licensing Activity during May and June.
2. Background
2.1 Members will be aware that non-contentious licence applications may be granted by the Director of Health and Community.
3. Key Issues
3.1 A number of applications for entertainments licences were received and the (28 day) period for representations to be made in respect of these expired in June. These are shown in Appendix 1.
3.2 There were no objections in response to the public notices advertised in connection with the applications.
3.3 The applications were referred to the Foyle Area Commander and there are no objections from police.
3.4 In the case of renewal applications, the premises have previously been confirmed as suitable by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Building Control so the licences have been renewed.
3.5 Where the application is for the grant of a licence or renewal with variation, the application is granted, in principle, subject to the premises being confirmed as suitable by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Building Control.

4.1 There are no financial implications for Council.
