These observers, commonly referred to for the last thirty years as UFOs, which may previously have been visitors to our air space for thousands or millions of years before their increased visitations in the present period, have in the past been afforded a variety of explanations by those who saw them. They were gods, dragons, ghosts, devils, signs of doom and portent, or messages and even messengers from God. Prophets from Earth have thought that they had conversed with such messengers and relayed their warnings to their people. Since the 1950's, a cresting new wave of unidentified earthly visitations has been reported in the skies, in the seas, and on the lands of almost all areas of Earth. Despite the ironical reporting of such phenomena in the local press and tendencies to discredit or a reluctance to follow up initial reports, both of which suggest a form of censorship from official sources, the actuality of these unidentified visitations will not vanish. No one among the millions who have personally observed UFOs will forget their convincing presence, and these include heads of state, astronomers, air force and navy personnel of many countries, civilian pilots, ship captains, police investigators, and countless other observers who would normally hesitate, because of their professional careers, before reporting a UFO. These witnesses are likely not to be swayed by superstition or popular emotion. As public credence begins to accept the invasion of UFOs in the skies of Earth, the frustrating question continues to pose itself with increasing frequency as to what those who direct the flights of UFOs desire from this planet. Are they looking for planetary living space? 1 For minerals? For water? Or, perhaps for food? Or are they looking or waiting for something that is not yet clear to us? UFOs, while demonstrating considerable curiosity about activities on Earth, especially atomic, space research, communication centers, and war zones, have not yet sent messages to representatives of the powers of Earth that we have been able to perceive; and, as there have been well-authenticated cases where UFOs have been fired upon in flight or even after landing by the local military, it is unlikely that those who send them, unless they are bent on conquest, will continue to risk the danger of direct contact with the suspicious and warlike inhabitants of Earth. However, landings continue to be made, many in isolated areas. The most recent count lists 1925 cases in 66 countries where physical traces of observed landings have been found imprinted or burned on the ground. More than 20% of these landing reports have included the sighting of crews or "humanoid creatures" from the UFOs by human observers. A notable observer of the UFO phenomenon, Maurice Chatelain, space scientist, a designer of the Apollo space craft, NASA Chief of Communications for the Apollo lunar missions, is of the opinion that there are messages to be read, for those able to read them, within the UFO landing patterns themselves and within the traces left by UFOs on the ground. Maurice Chatelain, working with other French researchers, has developed, with typical French dedication to innovative theories, convincing proof that advanced mathematical information is contained within the patterns of landing and also the imprints on the earth left by UFOs at the time of landing. It is their theory that this information is an opening gambit offered to the inhabitants of Earth for future communication. This information, when run through computers, has surprisingly and correctly given basic mathematical ratios which indicate a knowledge and sophisticated use of advanced mathematics. A message left by space visitors using mathematics as an international or interspatial language has a certain logic, since a knowledge of mathematics would be a necessity for space travel and would be recognized by some member of a planetary population such as ours, 2 just now preparing for the exploration of the cosmos. Maurice Chatelain, with his unique experience in space communications and data processing, is ideally suited to recognize such messages and their importance. The engrossing book that he has written traces a pattern of attempted contact by space travelers on what must seem to them the unfriendly surface of a minor planet, whose inhabitants have constantly misunderstood their motives and considered them enemies to be feared. Therefore, instead of direct contact, a series of mathematical messages are being offered to the people of Earth. If these messages are recognized and answered, it may prove to be the first step to finding intelligent allies in what many of us have feared to be an empty universe -- perhaps with as much reason as Europeans considered, before Columbus, that travel westward would lead to a pouring precipice of the waters over the flat edge of the world. Communications with UFOs may be more important than we presently realize, since there seems to be a continuing effort on their part to tell us something, if a key can be found to understanding them. Almost two centuries ago a key was discovered in Egypt, the Rosetta Stone which, through the efforts of Champollion, another Frenchman, unlocked much of the mystery of the distant past and opened the door to the surprising civilization of ancient Egypt. The key that will unlock the secret of extraterrestrial civilizations will undoubtedly open up information that will be even more surprising and considerably more important, since it will deal not with a segment of our past, but with the future of the world, and will concern us all. 3 INTRODUCTION Most American space flights, from Mercury and Gemini to Apollo, were followed by unknown spacecraft that could have come from another civilization in outer space and have already established bases on the Moon. The recent decoding of strange radio signals received from outer space seems to indicate that astronauts from Epsilon Bootis could have been in orbit around the Earth, at the same distance as the Moon, for the last 12,600 years. A clay tablet covered with cuneiform script and discovered in the ruins of Nineveh shows a huge number, 195,955,200 million, which represents expressed in seconds, an enormous period of time of 2268 million days or 6.3 million years. This period of time, which seems to have been computed 64,800 years ago, is an exact multiple of any astronomical cycle known so far and must, therefore, have been an astronomical constant of the universe. Mayan astronomers, whose chronology appears to go back to 49,611 BC, had computed enormous periods of time of 93 and 403 million years corresponding to cosmic cycles that we have just recently dis- covered. They had computed a long calendar of 5163 years based on the con- junctions of Jupiter and Saturn, and a shorter one of 104 years based on Mars and Venus. They knew that these conjunctions occurred exactly behind the Sun every 2,383 years, and that the same solar eclipse happened every 521 years on the same day of the year and the same point on the zodiac. The Mayan calendar of 14,040 days or 39 years was based on the coincidence of Mercury years of 117 days, sacred years of 260 days, solar years of 360 days, Venus years of 585 days, Mars years of 780 days, and Mars-Uranus conjunction cycles of 702 days. 5 The Great Pyramid was built according to the two mathematical fac- tors Pi of 22/7 and Phi of 89/55. Its volume and weight were exact fractions of those of the Earth, and all of its dimensions are related to astronomical cycles and conjunction periods. With the Sphinx and the other two pyramids, it clearly indicates the exact point where the treasure of the Pharaohs could be located. The Egyptian calendar, which seems to be related to the Mayan one, was established in 49,214 BC. It was based on the coincidence of solar years of 365 days, with Sirius years of 365 1/4 days every 1460 years and with Venus years of 584 days every 2336 years. A huge Maltese Cross made of thirteen ancient Greek temples and covering 540 kilometers across the Aegean Sea, has recently been discovered. It shows the perfect division of a circle into 28 equal sectors.

Smith NORC at the University of Chicago, USA Neha Sahgal Pew Research Center, USA Abstract Americans continue to have beliefs in the paranormal, for example in UFOs, ghosts, haunted houses, and clairvoyance. Yet, to date there has not been a systematic gathering of data on popular beliefs about the paranormal, and the question of whether or not there is a convincing trend in beliefs about the paranormal remains to be explored. Public opinion polling on paranormal beliefs shows that these beliefs have remained stable over time, and in some cases have in fact increased. Beliefs in ghosts (25% in 1990 to 32% in 2005) and haunted houses (29% in 1990, 37% in 2001) have all increased while beliefs in clairvoyance (26% in 1990 and 2005) and astrology as scientific (31% in 2006, 32% in 2014) have remained stable. Belief in UFOs (50%) is highest among all paranormal beliefs. Our findings show that people continue to hold beliefs about the paranormal despite their lack of grounding in science or religion. A R C H O N S HIDDEN RULERS THROUGH THE AGES A R C H O N S HIDDEN RULERS THROUGH THE AGES WATCH THIS IMPORTANT VIDEO UFOs, Aliens, and the Question of Contact MUST-SEE THE OCCULT REASON FOR PSYCHOPATHY Organic Portals: Aliens and Psychopaths KNOWLEDGE THROUGH GNOSIS Boris Mouravieff - GNOSIS IN THE BEGINNING ...1 The Gnostic core belief was a strong dualism: that the world of matter was deadening and inferior to a remote nonphysical home, to which an interior divine spark in most humans aspired to return after death. This led them to an absorption with the Jewish creation myths in Genesis, which they obsessively reinterpreted to formulate allegorical explanations of how humans ended up trapped in the world of matter. The basic Gnostic story, which varied in details from teacher to teacher, was this: In the beginning there was an unknowable, immaterial, and invisible God, sometimes called the Father of All and sometimes by other names. “He” was neither male nor female, and was composed of an implicitly finite amount of a living nonphysical substance. Surrounding this God was a great empty region called the Pleroma (the fullness). Beyond the Pleroma lay empty space. The God acted to fill the Pleroma through a series of emanations, a squeezing off of small portions of his/its nonphysical energetic divine material. In most accounts there are thirty emanations in fifteen complementary pairs, each getting slightly less of the divine material and therefore being slightly weaker. The emanations are called Aeons (eternities) and are mostly named personifications in Greek of abstract ideas.

In order to parameterize the detector for such a newly-proposed MERO, the evaluation of the instrument’s entrance pupil irradiance (EPI) is of great importance. The motivation of this work is to build an EPI estimating model for a simplified single-pixel MERO instrument. The rationale of this model is to sum the contributions of every location in the MERO-viewed region on the Earth’s top of atmosphere (TOA) to the MERO sensor’s EPI, taking into account the anisotropy in the longwave radiance at the Earth TOA. Such anisotropy could be characterized by the TOA anisotropic factors, which can be derived from the Clouds and the Earth’s Radiant Energy System (CERES) angular distribution models (ADMs).

  • Documents on Dowsing Rods and Pendula
11/20/40 G/G/ 1 To the Head of the Sicherheitspolizei and the SD Berlin SW 68 Wilhelm St. 102 Re: Documents on Dowsing Rods and Pendula Ref: Letter from August 13 1940 III A 5 Sr./DOE Z 9640 The leader of the Research Center for Applied Geology in the “Ahnenerbe”, Professor Josef Wimmer, appointed by the Reichsführer-SS, was called upon to provide an assessment of the confiscation of documents published by Verlag I Huber in Diessen, Munich on the topic of dowsing rods and pendula as well as astrology. Fundamentally, the following can be said on the above-mentioned documents: 1) Due to research of the last years, the veil of mystery has been lifted from the dowsing rod phenomenon and the dowsing reaction has shifted from the state of the occult to that of the physically comprehensible. With this progress it is possible that the path to revealing the actual physical causes of the phenomena of the so-called sidereal pendulum is no longer so long and difficult. 2) The entire literature on dowsing rods and pendula contains without a doubt many observations that are either false, distorted by observational mistakes, or only partially correct – in particular, the attempts at explanation and countless theories are often arbitrary, fantastical and physically indefensible. The same literature contains however also at least as many observations which have proven today to be correct and physically explainable and therefore constitute nonetheless a valuable contribution to the entirety of observational material on dowsing rod and pendulum questions. The task of the dowsing rod and pendulum research will be to sift through this literature and to separate the usable from the worthless.

J, Ferrari W. G. Heffron FILING SUBJECT(S) (ASSIGNED BY AUTHOR(S))- Moonl Selenodesy, PlanetaryI Librations ABSTRACT Physical librations of the moon, which cause seleno- graphic axes fixed in the true moon to have a different orientation than similar axes fixed in the mean moon, are small cyclic perturbations with periods of one month and longer, and amplitudes of 100 arc seconds or less. These librations have two types of effects of present interest. If the orbital elements of a lunar satellite are referred to selenographic axes in the true moon as it rotates and librates, then the librations cause changes in the orientation angles (node, inclination and periapsis argu- ment) large enough that long period planetary perturbation theory cannot be used without compensation for such geometri- cal effects. As a second effect, the gravitic potential of the moon is actually wobbled in inertial space, a condition not included in the potential expression used in planetary perturbation theory e The paper gives data on the magnitude of the physi- cal librations, the geometrical effects on the orbital elements and the equivalent changes in the coefficients in the potential. Fortunately, the last effect is shown to be small. • Lunar Standstills and Chimney Rock
Lunar Standstills and Chimney Rock Thomas Hockey To understand the motion of something, we require a reference. For a car, it’s the road. For the hands of a clock, it’s the numbered dial behind them. In the case of the Moon seen in the sky, nature provides a terrific reference: It’s the background of stars. The stars are so distant that their motions through space are imperceptible to the naked eye over human history. Thus we speak of the “fixed stars.” Imagine that the spherical Earth is surrounded by a shell of fixed stars. It isn’t really, of course. (The stars are at varying distances from the Earth, they aren’t physically attached to anything, etc.) Still, that’s what it looks like! During the course of the night, this shell appears to partly rotate around us, due to the Earth—the thing that’s really rotating—turning completely once each twenty-four-hour day. You can even infer the place in the sky about which the shell seems to be spinning. It’s a point, directly north, about one third of the way from the horizon at Chimney Rock to the point overhead. Look for the star of modest brightness (the “North Star”) that nearly marks its exact location. This North Celestial Pole [NCP] is just the extension of the Earth’s North Pole (one of two poles defining the axis about which the Earth rotates), infinitely into the sky. (The South Celestial Pole [SCP] is forever below the southern horizon at Chimney Rock.) We can do better than just imagining! A few hours spent stargazing under the real sky will convince you that this is true.

Canup Planetary Science Directorate, Southwest Research Institute, Boulder, Colorado, 80302, USA Key Points: • Evection resonance and a subsequent quasi-resonance regime may remove an- gular momentum from the Earth-Moon system. • Only a narrow range of fixed tidal parameters can reconcile a high-angular momentum Moon-forming impact with the current Earth-Moon system. • For a time-dependent terrestrial dissipation model, quasi-resonance escape oc- curs early, leaving the system with an angular momentum excess. arXiv:2008.02968v1 [astro-ph.EP] 7 Aug 2020 Corresponding author: R. Rufu, [email protected] –1– Accepted manuscript JGR-Planets Abstract Forming the Moon by a high-angular momentum impact may explain the Earth- Moon isotopic similarities, however, the post-impact angular momentum needs to be reduced by a factor of 2 or more to the current value (1 LEM) after the Moon forms. Capture into the evection resonance, occurring when the lunar perigee precession pe- riod equals one year, could remove the angular momentum excess. However the ap- propriate angular momentum removal appears sensitive to the tidal model and chosen tidal parameters. In this work, we use a constant-time delay tidal model to explore the Moon’s orbital evolution through evection. We find that exit from formal evec- tion occurs early and that subsequently, the Moon enters a quasi-resonance regime, in which evection still regulates the lunar eccentricity even though the resonance an- gle is no longer librating.
