I also avail this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Amir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Government of the State of Qatar for their continued support and cooperation, and to the hospitality and patronage extended to the Indian expatriate community in Qatar. The multi-faceted bilateral relationship between India and Qatar continues to strengthen further in various areas of our engagement, including political, energy, trade & investment, security and defence and cultural spheres. This year is particularly special, as we are celebrating it as the India-Qatar Year of Culture.
