ASU Coaches Visit Local Radio Morning Shows

JONESBORO (7-18-2007) — Members of the ASU football coaching staff visited the radio stations of East Arkansas Broadcasters Wednesday morning, delivering doughnuts to the on-air personalities and previewing the upcoming season on the air.

ASU’s assistant coaches were live on KBTM 1230 AM, KFIN 107.9 FM, KIYS 101.9 FM, and KWHF 95.9 FM “The Wolf,” the flagship station for ASU football. The coaches discussed the upcoming season, ticket sales, next week’s Women’s Football Clinic, and other issues related to Arkansas State football.

ASU’s season is set to get underway Sept. 1 when the Tribe visits the University of Texas. The home opener is set for Sept. 8, when Arkansas State will play host to the Tigers of Memphis in a 6 p.m. game at Indian Stadium.
