Kendall Math Club Parents and Kendall teachers are coming together this February to create an ALL VOLUNTEER, after school math club! This club is open to all Kendall students and the focus is on having fun! We will play number games to build math skills and fluency with our children. The club will meet Mondays directly after school. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Jeff Schmidt via [email protected] or (360)599-1388 or Mr. Anderson, 5th grade teacher at Kendall

End of Day Bus Dismissal If you have a bus rider that will be picked up after school rather than riding the bus, please let the office know prior to the end of the day. Due to safety concerns, once students are loaded on the bus, they cannot be taken off.

Inclement Weather As we start the new year with snow on the ground, here is a reminder of how to find out if the school day has changed due to weather. Normally, the school district will call all families with news regarding delays or closures; however, you may also consult the following: • Mount Baker School District web page • Local radio or TV Stations: o TV - KOMO 4, KING 5, KONG 16, KIRO 7, KVOS 12 o Radio – KGMI (790am), KPUG (1170am) KAFE (104.3fm), KMPS (94.1fm), KUBE (93.3fm) • The Bus Garage weather line at 383-2070

Box Tops Competition Although close at the end, the girls were able to sneak past the boys for a Box Top win! Thank you to all that contributed, the effort from all of the students was abundant. Please keep collecting for the school and help Kendall earn a popcorn party at the end of the year with $1000 worth of Box Tops collected.

Outside Recess With the chilly weather that we have been having, please help your child remember to bring their coat to school. Students play outside everyday and we want to make sure that everyone all stay warm! Also, writing their name on a tag inside of the jacket will help a lost coat find its owner, and keeps the number of coats in the lost and found down.

Happy New Year To All! Have A Fantastic Week
