Youth Development

•Structured and qualified coaching from Under 5 to Senior

•Underage summer training camps run by fully qualified club coaches

•All Ireland Feile-na-Gael champions 1988 & 2002

•Our first All Ireland Club title in 1997 was achieved with 10 players from the All Ireland Feile-na-Gael winning team of 1988

•Ever expanding town boundaries and ongoing local development ensures our youth policy will be secure for many years to come Survival to Revival

Despite the concerted efforts to drive us out of existence we emerged from the Troubles and set about trying to redress the years of stagnation and underinvestment.

Our objective is to make Crossmaglen Rangers GAA club a modern fit for purpose facility that will cater for the entire local community as well as provide a positive focus for the youth of our area.

We have delivered a number of very significant projects over the past 20 years and we have a proven track record in successfully delivering major programmes of development.

Our Community Responsibility

• We provide one of the only outlets for positive youth activity in the area.

• We provide a safe and healthy environment for the youth of the area to engage in constructive sporting and recreational activities that provide both health and social benefits.

• The numerous big games held at our grounds have over many, many years have attracted perhaps 1 million visitors to the town and if each visitor spent only £20 the payback for the local economy could be estimated to be in the region of £20 million.

• We play a vital role in keeping anti social behaviour to a minimum in the locality eg there is little or no graffiti or car crime in the area even though it is an area of high deprivation.

Can We As A Club Be Part Of The Future Development Of Our Community, South Armagh , And Our Region… ?

• We have made a conscious decision to engage with political and community leaders to promote South Armagh What can Rangers do ?

• We have a constant flow of visitors to our club; we need to harness this interest for the good of the area. • Can we use the “ethos” of the club to attract investment to the area ? Quotes
