20 national.ballet.ca 21 The magnificent performances in Paris and London that officially opened The National Ballet of Canada’s 2017/18 season are testament to what we can accomplish together. Empowered by Karen Kain’s vision, the talent and dedication of our artists and the generosity of our donors to the Soaring Campaign, the National Ballet is once again enjoying a prominent position on the world stage with access to more and diverse audiences than ever before.

Thank you to Margaret and David Fountain for their leadership gift to support the Paris and London tour.

Soaring: The Campaign for The National Ballet of Canada is now at $84 million of our $ goal. Many wonderful donors have given toward dancer and orchestra support, new productions, touring opportunities, community engagement and the Endowment Foundation. We are seeing the tremendous results of these partnerships right now and in our planning for future artistic successes over the long-term.
