SCOPE We have audited the special purpose fi nancial report of Australian Gymnastics Federation Inc (“AGF”) for the year ended 31 December, 2004, consisting of the Balance Sheet, Trading Profi t and Loss Statement and the Financial Notes. The Board are responsible for the preparation and presentation of the fi nancial report in order to express an opinion on it to the members.

Out audit has been conducted in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards to provide reasonable assurance as to whether the fi nancial report is free of material misstatement. Our procedures included examination, on attests basis, or evidence supporting the amounts and other disclosures in the fi nancial report, and the evaluation of accounting policies and signifi cant accounting estimates. These procedures have been undertaken to form an opinion as to whether, in all material respects, the fi nancial report is presented fairly in accordance with applicable Australian accounting standards, other mandatory professional reporting requirements (including Urgent Issues Group Consensus Views) and statutory requirements so as to present a view which is consistent with our understanding of AGF’s fi nancial position and its performance as represented by its results for its operations.

THE BEST ARTISTIC GYMNASTS IN THE WORLD ARE COMING TO MELBOURNE

In November 2005, the best artistic gymnasts from around the world will come to Melbourne to compete in the 2005 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.

The event will be held at the Rod Laver Arena and crown both All Around and Apparatus World Championships in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.
