Nov 1st Scratch League & Bell Trophy Report
Jeph Hamilton 2017 Report For P&K AGM Scratch League & Bell Overall another well contested year, with Muckhart coming out on Trophy Organiser top in both the Bell Trophy & Scratch league format. Both competitions are summarised in this report along with some learning and reflections for 2018.

Key Learning Points for 2017/18 • Of the 24 clubs in P&K 13 could field a 3-man team with Blairgowrie entering 3 teams and Muckhart 2, appendix 1 shows a summary • Despite dropping to a 3-man team format we are still seeing some clubs struggle to field a team with some having dropped out in 2017, see appendix 2 • There were also 6 instances over the league format where games had to be forfeited due to a team not being able to field players • Changes for 2018: o Entry will be published out earlier and raised at the AGM in November o The schedule will be reviewed as availability of players may be better toward the end of the summer o Teams to be reminded that they can pair up with other clubs o Teams to be reminded they can field alternate players 4
Bell Trophy -Final Results & Overall summary A fantastic final saw Muckhart edge out Aberfeldy/Taymouth Castle 3-2.
