EXECUTIVE SUMMARY General EXECUTIVE SUMMARY General :- 1. 13th Security Skills & Leadership Summit - 2018 was organized by the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) on 15th & 16th November 18 at PHD House, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi. The event was co-hosted by Association of Private Detectives & Investigators – India (APDI). 2. Theme - Amongst various issues concerning the Private Security Sector (PSS), the main agenda of this conference was negative impact of GST on PSI and RBI notification effect on Cash Management companies. The agenda was structured in such a way that members got the opportunity to raise their concerns about the pertinent issues related to PSARA, GST, Labour and Skilling of the Security Guards and Supervisors. Major highlights of the event are as under:- CAPSI has honoured Shaheed Vishambher Singh who died while saving a cash van with 4.5 Crore. He was given CAPSI BRAVERY AWARD. Launching of Affordable Housing Schemes for Security guards. Promoting Second Generation - In collaboration with Noida International University (NIU) CAPSI has launched 3 years BBA course in Security Management for Security guards and Supervisors children and signed MOU with NIU. CAPSI has also signed MOU with ICISSM to encourage working security professional for up skilling & upgrading their professional qualifications. It’s a “On-line Certifications Courses” for Certified Security Professionals (CSP) & Certified Security Managers (CSM). Demand for Financial security cover for Security guards in event of death 3. Attendance - Almost 500 delegates from various sectors of the Private Security Industry representing Private Security/Investigation Agencies, Training Providers, Assessment Bodies etc), Govt Departments, Corporate Sector, Subject Matter Experts and other distinguished personalities from various sectors attended the Summit.
