Andra Day to Perform at the 2018 Paradise Hills Night Market

San Diego, Calif. – Made in Paradise Hills is honored to announce singer, songwriter, activist and ​ Grammy nominated performer Andra Day as the special guest for this year’s Paradise Hills Night Market. Reigning from Southeast ; an alumna of the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in Paradise Hills - the community is humbled and excited to welcome her back home.

Since embarking on her musical career, not only has she made a remarkable dent in the industry amongst legendary names, sharing the stage with , Alicia Keys, John Legend and , she serves as an inspiration to all, using her voice to echo messages of empowerment. Summoning millions around the globe to not give up in the face of adversity, Andra Day’s Platinum lead single “Rise Up” achieved a nod for “Best R&B Performance” while her full-length debut [Buskin Records / Warner Bros. Records] garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best R&B Album” in 2016.

Andra Day’s soulful voice has resounded through the halls of the historic 2016 Democratic National Convention as well as the launch of Michelle Obama’s We Will Rise documentary in partnership with and Freida Pinto on “International Day of the Girl” event at The White House.
