The totals you see are correct. *Looking for sortable projections by position or category? Check out the projections tab inside the ESPN Fantasy game. *'Team stat rankings' is where each team is projected to finish in the category that is shown. *'Unit Grades' is not related to fantasy football and is an objective ranking of each team at 10 key positions. The overall grades are weighted based on positional importance. The scale is 4.0 (best) to 0.1 (worst). • Quenton Nelson: the Real Offensive Rookie of the Year
Quenton Nelson: The Real Offensive Rookie of The Year Author : Scott DelleFave While Cleveland Browns Quarterback Baker Mayfield and New York Giants Running Back Saquon Barkley are stealing the show as the new crop of talent in the NFL. However, there is one offensive rookie that is playing already at an elite level; and that man is Guard Quenton Nelson of the Indianapolis Colts. Nelson being picked sixth overall is extremely high for an interior lineman, but it isn't unprecedented in recent memory as Jonathan Cooper and Chance Warmack were guards both taken in the top ten of the 2013 NFL draft. Cooper and Warmack never reached elite status, but are still kicking around the league six years later. The best part about taking Nelson sixth overall is the fact that the Colts were likely to select him with the third overall pick before they traded back with the New York Jets and netted three additional second round picks, two in 2018 (who turned out to be Braden Smith, another guard and Kemoko Turay) and another in 2019. The almighty question you all are thinking is: why on earth should an interior lineman win the Offensive Rookie of the Year? Simply put he isn't supposed to put up any sorts of stats in the ways of yards or 1 / 2 touchdowns he's done his job expertly and his primary jobs are to keep franchise Quarterback Andrew Luck vertical and healthy. Nelson has greatly succeeded as numerous commentators have mentioned we've seen Andrew Luck return to his previous glory.

Arizona has the potential to have top-five wide receiver group with DHop, AJ, Rondale Moore, and Christian Kirk.” The Cardinals have lots of depth now at QB: Kyler Murray saw his first snaps this preseason, but the wide receiver position with the additions for Green it was evident Kliff Kingsbury sees little value in giving and Moore this offseason. his superstar quarterback an extended preseason look. He played nine snaps against the Chiefs before giving TE: The tight end position remains one of the big way to Colt McCoy and Chris Streveler. Those nine question marks. • What the Broncos' 2014 Offseason Spending Spree Can Tell Us About
What the Broncos’ 2014 offseason spending spree can tell us about 2018 By Nicki Jhabvala Denver Post Feb. 21, 2018 This story always begins with a plane ride, because that was when the message was fully received. DeMarcus Ware, en route to Colorado to discuss the possibility of becoming a Bronco in March 2014, looked behind him and saw cornerback Aqib Talib sitting a few rows back. Both were bound for Dove Valley, both would sign on a dotted line and both would later be introduced as the newest members of the Broncos’ remade defense. The moment, 30,000 feet in the air, is when Ware knew what was happening. He could see John Elway’s vision for the Broncos after their embarrassing Super Bowl XLVIII loss to Seattle. “Just their mentality is a ‘now’ mentality. A mentality of, ‘I’m not looking forward to the next season or the season after that — the time is now,’ ” Ware told a crowd of reporters on his first day as a Bronco. “So when I looked back there in that back seat and I see Talib, I’m like, ‘You know what? They’re trying to get the job done.’ ” Those two joined free-agent safety T.J. Ward, as well as Emmanuel Sanders, a former Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver who would sign days later to be Denver’s No. 2 receiver in the wake of Eric Decker’s departure. The payout of nearly $125 million in veteran talent happened in the span of about five days, ensuring the Broncos were the talk of the offseason as Elway opened their checkbook and gave Peyton Manning a defense that would soon match their prolific offense.
