Ravichandran Ashwin became fourth Indian bowler to pick up 400 Test wickets and 2nd fastest after Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralidharan. Karnataka will host 2nd Khelo India University Games (KIUG) later in 2021. Indian women boxers won 10 Medals (Including 5 Gold) overall for a top finish, at 30th Adriatic Pearl Tournament in Budva (Montenegro). Gold Medals - Babyrojisana Chanu (51kg), Arundhati Choudhary (69kg), Alfiya Pathan (81kg), Vinka (60kg) and T Sanamacha Chanu (75kg). British woman Jasmine Harrison became youngest woman to row solo across Atlantic Ocean, at 21 years age. She achieved this by finishing top in 2020 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. Indian boxer won 12 medals, including five golds, at 30th Adriatic Pearl Tournament in Budva (Montenegro), finishing 2nd on overall tally behind Uzbekistan. 9. President Ram Nath Kovind performed Bhoomi Pujan at huge sports enclave in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), named after Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It will be largest sports enclave in country, to be built on 233 acres of land. Mr. President also inaugurated world's largest Cricket stadium named Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, as part of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel sports complex. It has capacity of 1.32 lakh spectators, much more than 1 Lakh capacity of MCG (Australia), which was previous largest. 10.
