THE LOOKBOOK 2020 About Us OUR CLOTHES Our pieces are designed to be both timeless and tough. Intricate smocking and detailing create distinctive silhouettes for special occasions, while our fine cotton is easy to launder after a day spent exploring and jumping in puddles.
Each dress takes around eight hours to produce using traditional craftsmanship, hand smocking and fine cotton and silk.
OUR STORY Annafie was born from a desire to produce childrenswear considerately, in small batches, with longevity at the core of the designs and materials.
We are an independent brand based in London and run by CEO and mother of four, Leonie von Schweinitz. Leonie is passionate about classic design, but also understands the importance of easy-care clothing that will last to be handed down.
Over the past 15 years, Annafie’s combination of quality and luxury has made our clothes popular with the children of some of the world’s style icons, including the Duchess of Cambridge (hence Prince George’s namesake romper).
We believe in letting kids be kids, which is why we make beautiful clothes to be worn on beautiful adventures. New for SS20, the Wonderland dress is set to become an Annafie classic. Baby blue cotton piqué is set off by a white peter pan collar and hand embroidered roses. Fabric covered buttons, a fully lined skirt for flare and a matching sash creates the elegant silhou- ette Annafie is known for.

WONDERLAND Sky blue piqué Toile de jouy, but not as you’ve seen it before. The unique burgundy and white colour combination makes the dress perfect for the transitional seasons. Sky blue toile de jouy is the palette for Annafie’s best-selling icon: the Theodora. Fabric covered buttons and a matching sash create an enduring fit for each age size. Short puffed sleeves and a cotton lined skirt for flare create a timeless silhouette.

The Alice combines soft pink brushed cotton, pink and green “roses all around” and Annafie’s signature hand smocking for a traditional, feminine ALICE style. The Thumbelina has short puff sleeves, a peter pan collar, hand stitched roses in matching colours and a sash tied at the waist. It has a cotton lining, giving the skirt a flare pleated effect that is perfect for party-time twirling.

THUMBELINA Pink millefleur A unique dress for the festive period and be- yond. Navy cotton piqué with a hand smocked and embroidered horse carousel scene is topped with a white peter pan collar piped with navy outline. The long sleeves are puffed and fitted at the wrist with fabric covered buttons. A mat- ching sash tie around the waist completes this classic luxury style.

Named after the vibrant red plant synonymous with Christmas, the Poinsettia dress has white hand smocking and flower and diamond embroidery and piping, which pops against the red piqué. This twist on traditional design is finished with the signature Annafie silhouette of short puff sleeves, a cotton lined skirt for flare and sash tie around the waist.

DEER TO MY HEART Navy piqué Annafie has become synonymous with hand smocked silk dresses, and these will be available on request from Autmn/Winter 2020. Annafie works with a supplier of fine dupion silk, which retains its natural structure and shape. The silk party dresses are the epitome of luxury for little ones, from 12 months to 12 years. Matching boy’s sets are available on request.

100% fine cotton Machine washable up to 40°C Traditional hand smocking and embroidery Min 12 weeks lead time, depending on fabric availibility, complexity and size of order. All fabrics are 100% cotton, unless stated otherwise. No MOQ, but please allow additional time for orders below 50 items. Smocking designs and embroidery can be discussed. Dresses and smocked pyjamas are available in sizes 3 months to 12 years. Rompers are available in sizes 3 months to 18 months/2 years. Dresses can have no/short/long sleeves. Nightgowns are not available in flame retardant finish and can therefore not be sold within the UK. Silk dresses available upon request, MOQs and longer lead times apply.
