But as West threatened to post a score of around 200, more good bowling by East kept pegging West back to a par score of 172. If East had held their catches, the score could have been closer to 140. West continued the theme of tight bowling and East struggled to score at more than 2 an over for the early part of their innings. Wickets fell in clusters which put East well behind the run rate despite a good 8th wicket partnership, but some more good bowling by the spinners and good catching ensured that East were bowled out for 104. Man of the match for West was Robbie Warburton and Will Heaver for East WEATHER & PITCH REPORT: Very cold and windy. The pitch was slow with even bounce. Outfield was lush which ensurured boundary scoring was difficult Scorecard to be sent to Dave Sheppard, Tom Benge & Richard Bedbrook on: [email protected]; [email protected] & [email protected].
