2.5. Diagnostic Notes **Adult**

Body oval or oblong oval. Antennae 10- or 11-segmented. Pronotal explanate margin entirely concealing head. Pronotum with hind angles not prolonged backward. Elytra forming widest part of the habitus. Angle between disc and collar obtuse. Prosternum in front of coxae short. Anterior margin of prosternum without antennal slots, with various degrees of emargination from sinuate to completely emarginate. Front coxae globular. Triangular interprocoxal area transverse.
