The double bank fishing is primarily fished from the right bank. In addition there is a single left bank fishing on the King’s Somborne Brook, extending to approximately 247 yards (225 metres). The beat is notable for its tranquil setting being well away from roads. The beat is identified on the attached sale plan. The former Stockbridge to Romsey railway line runs along the eastern boundary of the northern portion of the beat and is now a public footpath. Parking for motor vehicles is close to the former railway bridge half way up the beat as marked by a “P” on the sale plan.
