Three hurdlers jumping over hurdle with “Joy of Effort” on scroll below, surrounded by open laurel wreath. This medal is one of the most beautiful designs of Tait McKenzie. It was first exhibited as a large plaque at the Stockholm 1912 Games where it was awarded a medal by the Swedish King.
