Otherwise navigate to Sopley in Hampshire which is on the Ringwood to Christchurch road B3347. The camp is situated off Derritt Lane which runs from Sopley to Bransgore. If you are coming from Sopley as you head down Derritt Lane pass a crossing then look out on the right hand side for a five bar gate and our sign above. You will may see signs for Sopley Farm Shop Pick Your Own - this is the same location. If you are coming from Bransgore cross the single lane bridge and look for a five bar gate on the left hand side. You may also see signs for Sopley Farm Shop Pick Your Own - this is the same location. If the gate is locked, the combination is 1948 Drive past the Sopley Farm Shop on the left hand side and proceed on the tarmac road across the fields. Please take care, there maybe small children and pedestrians in this area. Continue straight ahead until you get to a metal 5 bar gate at the entrance to the wood if this is locked the code is the same, 1948 then you will get to the lake and follow the road round to the right. You will pass through the Fisherman’s Car Park. On a corner turn sharp left down the tree-lined track.

It will always work proactively with applicants jointly to find solutions which mean that proposals can be approved wherever possible, and to secure development that improves the economic, social and environmental conditions in the area. Planning applications that accord with the policies in this Local Plan (and, where relevant, with policies in neighbourhood plans) will be approved without delay, unless material considerations indicate otherwise. Where there are no policies relevant to the application or relevant policies are out of date at the time of making the decision then the Council will grant permission unless material considerations indicate otherwise – taking into account whether: • Any adverse impacts of granting permission would significantly and demonstrably outweigh the benefits, when assessed against the policies in the National Planning Policy Framework taken as a whole; or • Specific policies in that Framework indicate that development should be restricted.
