Jim Lewis 1 2020 BOARD OF DIRECTORS The Association held its annual general meeting on January 29, 2020 during which elections were held for vacancies on the board of directors. A couple of directors who served in 2019 decided not to return to the board for varying reasons. The following were either elected or continued to serve their remaining times as directors - Jim Lewis, Cordel Telfer, Dennis Bucchan, Erline Granderson, Bernadette (Petra) Ryan-Phillips, Anthony (Andy) Lavia and Kenneth Farrell. At the end of the meeting there were two board positions to be filled as there were only 7 of the 9 positions filled. At the first meeting of the new board, the members named Francine Burke to fill one of the positions. The other position is still open. Lawson represented the Jamaican U17 national team at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico where he made one start. Lawson played with the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies for four seasons from 2012 – 2015, making 78 appearances as a forward and midfielder. He scored eight times and added seven assists. He was named to the All-Horizon League first team (2014) & second team (2015).

Prior to being drafted, Zach would play for PDL side TSS FC Rovers in the summer of 2017 and 2018. He made 21 appearances scoring five goals. Verhoven was drafted in the second round of the CPL U SPORTS draft in 2019 by Pacific FC. He signed his first professional contract early in the 2019 CPL season. “We followed Zach closely at the Island Games and we were impressed with his performance. In March 2017, Brian was loaned to the Tulsa Roughnecks (USL Championship) where he made three appearances. He was recalled in June and made his professional debut in the 4th round of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Wright scored his first professional goal in the next round of the U.S.

Ryan played with League1 Ontario side Vaughan Azzurri in 2016 and in 2017, signed with Toronto FC II (USL Championship) and made 38 appearances scoring one goal and adding one assist. In 2018, Telfer signed with Toronto FC (MLS) and made 19 appearances across all competitions scoring one goal and adding two assists. Ryan scored his first and only MLS goal, a game winner against Orlando City FC, on May 18th, 2018. Ryan Telfer is known for his speed down the wing, ability to create chances and eye for goal. Telfer represents Trinidad and Tobago at the international level. He has eight caps since 2019 and has scored four goals.
