This is a 1920’s Eatons Department Store 1 inch web. Eatons was one of Canada’s largest retailers. It features a blue & gold Eatons tag, but the writing is faint. There is a Z carved into button. Nice lining and feel. Very tough brand and beautiful overall condition…….$225

This mid-sized glove or youth model glove features a near perfect black & gold tag. There's a mark or scratch on the bottom right front. Nice cloth piping. 1920’s Foremost S725 1 Inch Web

This is a youth sized glove in pretty nice condition. It's a little dry and has a couple of dark spots on back. It’s the only Foremost 1” web I have ever cataloged. 1940’s D&M 651 Basemitt

A mid 1930's D&M Babe Dahlgren model 651 basemitt. It has seen use but is remarkably intact with the cloth patch and factory markings/ endorsement on the face still readable. The mitt has soft supple leather inside and out and intact finger stall dividers. This rare "Glove Thumb" model is distinguished by the by-pass lacing that skirts the thumb along the back panel giving the mitt more flexibility. The factory trap style lacing has been adjusted by a former owner to obtain maximum reach, a feature eventually outlawed by MLB in the 1940's. A circa 1910 Goldsmith catchers mitt. The mitt features two key Goldsmith patents, the 1905 web lacing and the interwoven belt style heel lacing of 1908. The reinforced pocket stitching and the early, fully intact "P. Goldsmith Sons" cloth patch also distinguish this mitt. As far as Double X models go, this is the model to have. The 151 is the most desirable Foxx model among glove collectors and on all the pre-war HOF want lists. This one is fantastic.
