I’m your host, Young Adventurer With A Green Hat and Boomerang. PRINCESS POMEGRANATE And I’m Princess Pomegranate! YOUNG ADVENTURER (apologizing to the audience) Sorry folks, Princess Peach was tied up this evening. PRINCESS POMEGRANATE Ahem! All these heroes are out of rings and out of lives. But with your help tonight we can raise enough gold rings to allow us all to play on! YOUNG ADVENTURER You met the heroes, let’s meet their helpers... (The music suddenly shifts as the VILLAINS enter.) PRINCESS POMEGRANATE (PP with speech bubble) Oh no…the villains! (all villains) (There’s tension for a moment, a standoff between the HEROES and VILLAINS. And then…) SPIKEY TURTLE Great to see you! ​(SPIKEY TURTLE and MARCO THE PLUMBER embrace in a big hug.) MARCO THE PLUMBER (speaks in an Italian accent) Long time-a no see Spikey T! How’re the kids-a? SPIKEY TURTLE Growing up so fast. Mrs. T has another litter on the way! MARCO THE PLUMBER No-a kidding! ​(All the HEROES and VILLAINS shake hands or high-five as it becomes clear they’re all​ ​friendly with each other.)

PRINCESS POMEGRANATE Time to introduce these iconic characters you see on stage tonight, starting with…the heroes! (Throughout the following section, as each name is called that character takes center stage and strikes a pose.)

ALL: Marco the Plumber! Speedy the Hedgehog! Karate Guy! Mega Kid! John Elway! And Young Adventurer!

YOUNG ADVENTURER (soaking in the attention a little too much) ​Thank you, thank you, thank you! PRINCESS POMEGRANATE (interrupting his moment) ​Ahem! YOUNG ADVENTURER (snapping out of it) A​ nd now, the villains!

LORENZO THE BROTHER (speaks in an Italian accent) W​ hat-a about the sidekicks?!

PRINCESS POMEGRANATE (ignoring Lorenzo) ​Plus, tonight we have a special lifetime achievement award for Pac Anne!​ (PAC ANNE enters. She has a cane and grey hair, clearly older than the others.) 'Cause it's time to kidnap the princess up in the castle. (princess & castle) Let the minions run free. You might think that it's all quite a hassle. It's all part of the gig. The hardest part is not the planning and scheming my friend. It's waiting for those lazy heroes to reach the end. (game over) ​

(The lunch whistle blows. A water cooler rolls onto the stage and all the VILLAINS take out their bag lunches.)

ALL VILLAINS (ad lib) Whew, time for lunch! Couldn’t have come sooner- I’m famished! etc. GENERIC GHOST Hey, what do you get today? SPIKEY TURTLE Let me look... baloney?! YES! (Oscar Meyer) Gotta love Mrs T! Evil Robot? ​ ​ EVIL ROBOT Nuts and bolts again. (nuts and bolts) ​ SLIMEY ALIEN I’ll take that over my snail and squid salad! (snail and squid added to salad ​ we have) (makes a barf face) (barf emoji) ​ ​ ​ ZOMBIE Peanut butter and BANANAS!!!!! (PB jar & bananas) ​ MAD SCIENTIST Well, I’ve got pastrami on rye with heirloom tomatoes, seasonal greens, and a chipotle aioli. (surprised emoji) ​ (A beat.) ALL OTHERS Wanna trade? (???) ​ (The lunch whistle blows again - lunch is over. they go back to the song.)

ALL VILLAINS: And then it's back to shooting and stomping and being mad. (Mad faces) ​ And showing off our villainous flair. (gloves shake) There's really quite a lot of effort to being bad. But it's our job, our job to scare! (scared grandma) ​ So if you see us out on vacation, (pool & lemonade) you don't have to think twice. (2) ​ 'Cause when we're not bent on world domination, (earth) ​ we're all really quite nice. (smile faces) ​ So now I hope you dig. That what we do. What we say. What you know.
