BULLDOG BITS • Both Campbell Connors and Kayla Kielbasa have scored a goal in all three games so far this season. • Lindsey Schreiber led the team with two of Butler’s five goals in the Bulldog’s most recent loss at Denver. • Seven different Bulldogs scored in Butler’s season opener loss to Robert Morris. KK Callaghan, Karina Latsko and Campbell Connors recorded two goals apiece. • In 2020, Butler ranked No. 8 nationally across NCAA Division I in scoring defense, allowing just 8.29 goals per game. • Offensively, the Bulldogs outscored their opponents 97-58 last season. • The Bulldogs set six single-game team records and two single-game individual records in 2020. • Butler returns nine starters from the 2020 roster, including leading scorer Gabryelle Bodine, who tabbed 18 goals and 22 total points for the Bulldogs last spring. • The Bulldogs return three players who earned BIG EAST Weekly Awards last season in goalie Amanda Rumsey and attackers Kaley Attaway and Connors. • Three current Bulldogs, Ashley Guerra, Amanda Rumsey, and Katie McGrath, hold at least one individual career record in Butler’s program history. • Guerra holds a total of five offensive individual career records.
