Entering the week they lead the WCC in batting average (.271), ERA L 2-0 (2.85), and fielding percentage (.965). The Toreros have three players (Caitlin Rooney, Charly Swanberg, and UC Riverside Tournament - Riverside, Calif. Dana Prelsnik) who have a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Rooney currently has the fielding percentage in 3/7 vs. Idaho State L, 5-2. Coleman is first in strikeouts looking (31), second in total strikeouts (109) and opposing batting average (.207), third in innings pitched (87.1), tied for fourth in wins (six), 3/19 DARTMOUTH L, 9-6 (8 inn.) and sixth in ERA (2.89). Lahitte is second in innings pitched (87.2) and strikeouts looking (27), tied for second in wins (seven), third in opposing batting average (.233) and total strikeouts (98), and fifth in ERA (2.79). USD Tournament II 3/22 UC SANTA BARBARA L, 2-1 WCC WATCH: The NCAA issued their first release of RPI rankings, and the Toreros had the top rank of 3/22 LONG BEACH STATE L, 7-6 (8 inn,) WCC schools, coming in at 95. BYU and LMU were next at 126 and 129 respectively. USD (15-15) is currently 3/23 UC SANTA BARBARA W, 2-0 one of only two WCC teams without a losing record (LMU is 17-13). 3/23 LONG BEACH STATE L, 3-2 LEADING OFF: Senior Dana Prelsnik centerfielder has done a great job of getting on base for the heart of 3/26 CSU NORTHRIDGE (@SDSU) 5:00 p.m. the lineup to knock her in. She leads the team and is tied for first in the WCC in runs scored with 20.
