Mr. Morales and I walked through all the units and found that all units were bone dry. I cannot tell you how happy that makes me as well as my owners and tenants. I am appreciative of the quality of work that Mr. Morales and his crew displayed while on site. As I stated to you before, Mr. Morales is very thorough and patient. He went above and beyond to rectify the issues and concerns that I had regarding the work done prior to him. He has made the project right and has put your name in good standing with The Island Storage. I hope to continue doing business with you in the future. Thank you Melissa Casares General Manager for The Island Storage Co 361-949-2229 A. O. Moreno, P.E. Engineering Consultants 3041 Holly Road Corpus Christi, TX. 78415 (361) 857-2100 * fax (361) 851-1010 Texas Engineering Firm 5234 [email protected] March 22, 2018 Re: Gourley Contractors LLC To whom it may concern: It has been a great pleasure of mine in working with this responsible local contractor for the past (5) years. I, as a field inspector for Arnold O. Moreno P.E., have witnessed over, and over a company with the resolve to do their scope of work to compliance, and expeditiously. I am thankful to be working with a company that has a proven history of work performance. I recommend Gourley Contractors LLC as one of Corpus Christi’s finest responsible contracting firms. Respectfully, Randal M. Salazar Inspector (361) 728-2986 March 21, 2018 RE: Gourley Contractors, LLC 4921 Ambassador Row Corpus Christi, TX 78416 (361) 883-3766 To Whom it may concern: TJ Engineering (Tim Johnson) has worked with individuals at Gourley Contractors on many (various - MEP) projects over the past 8 years. In each case, the personnel at Gourley Contractors have been extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in their respective fields of work, including mechanical, electrical & plumbing disciplines. TJ Engineering is happy to continue working on various (MEP applicable) projects with Gourley Contractors in the future, as they are good communicators and easy to work with. Sincerely, Timothy W. Johnson PE March 26, 2018 To whom it may concern: As a practicing architect since 1985 I have very few building contractors that I would have no reservations about recommending to a client. Gourley Contracting is one of them. James Gourley and his team have consistently produced high-quality projects on many of my projects over the past decade that have fallen within both the allotted time and budget framework. One of the good things I find working with Gourley Contracting is that they not only thoroughly review the drawings, they also will walk them through the municipal code compartment to make sure that there are no problems that would present conflicts with the codes later in the project. This is a time and cost saver to their clients. Gourley Contracting, with their many professional contacts, has the rare ability to function not only as a traditional general contractor, but to also put together a design build team, consisting of architects and engineers, as well. The design/build concept is a proven time saver for a future project owner. They also have the rare ability to clearly communicate with their clients as well as other members of the building team. One of an architect’s greatest concerns is that someone on the construction crew will be the weakest link in the project. A lot of unintentional damage can be done during a typical work day if a sub-contractor or workman installs materials in a way that does not meet the architect’s drawings. I don’t worry about this with James and his crew as their on-site superintendent is there to catch any non-standard work before it happens. It has been both a privilege and pleasure to have been associated with Gourley Contracting over the past decade and I look forward to having them as part of the construction team on any project of mine.
