Welcome events include sessions about orientation/registration/course system WELCOME WEEK ORIENTATION Autumn Semester Spring Semester Welcome Week Welcome Week 1st or 2nd week of September 1st or 2nd week of February University of Pannonia requires language level B1, B2 in English. LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE (The level depends on the Erasmus agreement between the institutions.) Hungarian Language Course is offered for 4 ECTS credits in both LANGUAGE COURSES

University of Pannonia has a dormitory available for Students for reduced rate. You don't need to contact the Hostel Magister. The list of students accepted to the dormitory will be sent 2-4 weeks before your arrival. All exchange students from the European Union need to have their European Health Insurance Card with them as it will be valid during their stay in Hungary. HEALTH INSURANCE All non-European Union exchange students must have valid Health Insurance that is in accordance with the requirements of visa application.

The Hungarian system of assessment consists of a five-point grading scale. These are as follows: • Excellent (5) • Good (4) • Satisfactory (3) • Pass (2) • Fail (1)
One academic year consists of two terms (autumn & spring GRADING SYSTEM semesters) which can be further divided into 3 further periods such as registration, term-time (lecture period), and exam period. • Registration: the student can finalize his/her schedule, enroll for the upcoming term, and take part in orientation days. • Duration of the registration: 1 week • Duration of the term-time: 14 weeks • Duration of the exam-time: 6 weeks (at least 28 working
