ABOUT THE ARTISTS Hometown Year Shan Dong, China Graduate VANCE GEORGE is internationally recognized as one of America’s leading Irvington, NY Graduate choral conductors. The orchestra is Buffalo, NY Freshman philanthropic in nature, raising funds for the Local Battered Women’s Shenzhen, China Sophomore Shelter, offering professional level performances while networking musicians Cazenovia, NY Senior throughout our area. The group is sponsored by Nazareth College and the Shanghai, China Junior Hochstein School of Music and Dance. Nancy Strelau is Founder and has Shenyang, China Graduate been Director of the group since 1992.

THE SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S CHOIR NANCY PETTERSEN STRELAU is Associate Professor of Professional Studies at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York, and is Director of Women have been singing at Syracuse University since 1887.
