PRESENTS CURTIS STONE LIVE AT THE RED ROBINSON SHOW THEATRE

Coquitlam, BC – Internationally renowned chef, Curtis Stone, began cooking at the Savoy Hotel in , at the age of 18. After completing his qualifications as a Chef, he took on his next challenge and set off to Europe seeing what Italy, France and Spain had to offer before finally arriving in London. It was there that he started cooking alongside British chef and restaurateur, at his restaurants, The Café Royal and Mirabelle. He eventually became Head Chef at Marco’s Quo Vadis receiving critical acclaim for his work. In 2001, Curtis was included in a book on London’s finest chefs titled London on a Plate which led to his landing an agent and a number of opportunities within the media. He returned to Australia in 2004 where he hosted the first season of the reality show, My Restaurant Rules which aired on The Seven Network. In 2006, he decided to move to where he soon found himself hosting The Learning Channel’s reality cooking show, Take Home Chef.

After appearances on NBC’s The Today Show, Oprah and Ellen, Curtis joined NBC’s The Biggest Loser in 2009 where he was brought on to teach healthy food choices. Earlier this year, he was a contestant on the third installment of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice where he placed fourth out of the fourteen contestants. Beginning this March, Curtis can be seen as a judge on NBC’s new alternative competition series, American’s Next Great Restaurant. The show will feature contestants vying for the opportunity to see their ideas turned into a new restaurant chain in three cities across the US. As hectic as his schedule remains, Curtis also enjoys going out on the road where he hosts a live cooking show at venues throughout North America. And he’ll be bringing his show – which includes audience participation and a Q & A segment – to Boulevard Casino’s Red Robinson Show Theatre in January, 2011.
