Quality/Features varies by manufacturer 3) Evil Apps: From non vetted publishers may have viruses 4) Not all apps work on all devices, Ex: Pocket Frogs installed fine on the Moto, said Acer A500 hardware was incompatible. 5) Some vendors modify OS. Ex. ACER android market is not the same as on Moto and has reduced functionality, no way to set PIN on market, so you have to delete credentials to prevent children from buying apps!
