Dear Parent and Carer,

Children are expected to wear full school uniform every day unless they have PE. At St Columba’s we believe that it is important for children to come to school in the correct uniform as it promotes a sense of belonging in the community and demonstrates equality. We would like to work with our families to ensure that your children are in the correct uniform. If you are having any difficulty in being able to provide the correct uniform then please speak to our admin team who may be able to supply you with uniform vouchers or spare uniform we have in school. Uniform is available to purchase from Rawcliffes, 42-44 Darley Street, Bradford.

Please see below the correct uniform we expect your to wear:-

Shirt Blue, red or yellow polo shirt Sweater / Cardigan Royal Blue Trousers Grey or black Grey (or pinafore) Skirts In summer a blue check dress may be worn Grey or white Socks In winter black or grey tights may be worn Shoes For inside use: Black plimsolls For outdoor use: Black sensible type (plain black trainers are acceptable with no visible logo) PE Navy or black shorts House T-shirt Red – St. Teresa Green – St. Damien Blue – St. Vincent Orange – St. Josephine School hoodie Plimsolls for indoor use Trainers for outdoor use Outerwear A sensible coat or raincoat

We do ask parents to help their children take pride in their appearance. Long hair should be tied back. Jewellery is not permitted except for a watch or small stud earrings.

School hoodies are available from Rawcliffes but are strictly for P.E and coming to and from school. You may have your child’s first name or surname printed on the back but we ask you not to use nicknames.

All items of clothing should be clearly labelled with the child’s name. Sadly, school cannot accept any responsibility for items of clothing or personal property that go missing.

Yours sincerely

Mrs A Gautrey Headteacher.
