COVID-19 Protocols
1. Masks/face covering must be worn throughout the show site. 2. Social distancing must be prac ced throughout the show site. 3. NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE SHOW SITE. – An approved list of owners, exhibitors, handlers, stewards, club members, and judges will be provided to Purina Staff who will health screen and clear each person entering Purina Farms via the list. Informa on regarding providing your name and contact associated with entered dogs may be found below. 4. Each screened and approved person will be issued a daily color coated wrist band that must be worn throughout the show site. 5. Exhibitors who are staying in RVs for the Cluster must report to the Purina Service Center each morning for health screening. They will then be issued a daily color coated wrist band. 6. Purina Event Center will not distribute chairs to exhibitors, handlers, or owners. If you need a chair for your grooming space or outside setup you must provide it. 7. Access to the Event Center will be granted through three designated doors on the North side, and three doors on the South side of the Event Center. Purina Staff will be posted at each approved door to keep a running building occupancy count. No more than 550 people will be allowed in the Event Center at any given me. A er 6 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, and a er the end of the shows on June 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7, 2021, access to the Event Center is limited to the Main North side entrance. 8. To keep occupancy at a manageable level in the Gateway Hall and the Grand Hall, all exhibitors are encouraged to “show & go.” If your exhibit(s) are through showing for the day, please exit the Event Center. 9. The Grooming layout for our cluster will be altered for this year. There will be no reserved grooming. No grooming spaces within the Event Center will have electricity. Blow Dryers are not allowed in the Event Center. Ba ery operated crate fans are allowed. Please see the sec on on Grooming on page 21 for more informa on about tented outside grooming spaces with electricity, inside grooming without electricity, and show and go cra ng. 10. The Purina Event Center Café will be open for purchases. Customers must follow the instruc ons on displayed signage for entry, social distancing, food selec on, purchases, and exi ng the café. 11. The Grooming baths for dogs in the Gateway (grooming) Hall will be open and accessible. 12. All par cipants in the shows must u lize the first-floor restrooms. Only authorized individuals may access the second floor of the Great Hall.

Novice Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after the closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent or Show Secretary prior to the judging of the class at the show. Open Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class or if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open in a licensed or member show. Master Class - for boys & girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 Best Junior wins in an Open class with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and must change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.
No entry may be changed or cancelled unless notice of the change or cancellation is received in writing by the Superintendent or Show Secretary named in the premium list to receive entries, prior to the closing date and hour for entries, except that a correction may be made from one age division to another, as well as, move from Master to Open or Open to Novice if a win has been disallowed or the Junior miscalculated number of placements, provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary prior to the judging of the class at the show. NOTICE: Junior Handlers must include their AKC JUNIOR HANDLER NUMBER on each entry. You may obtain your junior identification number by calling the AKC, Judges Education Depart- ment (919) 233-9767.

Scores will be based on a possible 200 Rally Novice A Christine Ward(p) points, with es being broken by me. (p) Rally Novice B Christine Ward (p) The Rally Novice Team Compe on will be for teams of Rally Intermediate Christine Ward (p) any four dogs. Five dogs may be entered, one to be Rally Advanced A Christine Ward (p) considered an alternate; however the same four dogs Rally Advanced B Christine Ward (p) will perform all of the signs. No dog may be entered on Rally Excellent A Christine Ward (p) more than one team. All team members will run the Rally Excellent B Christine Ward (p) rally novice course individually one a er the other, with Rally Master Christine Ward (p) the team me running con nuously. There will be Puppy, Bred By Exhibitor, and Open Classes for each of the Miscellaneous Breeds in each sex. Winners from these classes will compete for Best of Breed & Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed in each breed. Each Miscellaneous Best of Breed winner shall be eligible to compete for Best in Miscellaneous Class. All entries for Best in Miscellaneous Class shall be made a er judging of the individual Miscellaneous breed classes. In the event that the owner of a dog designated Best of Breed shall not exhibit the dog in the Best of Miscellaneous Class Compe on, no other dog of the same breed shall be allowed to compete. ACCESS TO THE GROOMING AREAS WILL BE FROM 3 TO 10 PM ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2021. IT WILL RESUME AS OF 6 AM ON THURSDAY JUNE 3, 2021. AFTER 6 PM ACCESS TO THE PURINA EVENT CENTER MAY ONLY BE MADE THROUGH THE MAIN DOOR ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE BUILDING. THE EVENT CENTER WILL BE CLOSED AT 10PM. ALL GROOMING SET UPS MUST BE IDENTIFIED BY THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR IT ALONG WITH THEIR LOCAL CONTACT NUMBER. PLEASE REFER TO THE GROOMING SECTION OF THE PREMIUM LIST FOR SPECIFICS REGARDING PROCEDURE FOR ACCESS. 1. INDOOR GROOMING WITHOUT ELECTRICITY: THERE WILL BE SOCIALLY DISTANCED GROOMING SPACES IN THE GATEWAY HALL. THERE WILL BE NO ELECTRICITY PROVIDED. BLOW DRYERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. There will be a guard on duty in the Purina Event Center on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday nights. Dogs may be le in crates overnight, but each crate must have the name and telephone number of the responsible party for the dog affixed to each crate in case of an emergency overnight. The event center will not be open to exhibitors/owners a er 10 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. The Event Center will reopen to exhibitors/owners at 6 AM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings. Dogs and equipment must be removed from the Purina Event Center immediately following Best in Show on Monday, June 7, 2021. RV PARKING GUIDELINES There are sixty-eight RV parking spaces located behind the Purina Event Center, with 30 and 50 amp service, sewer and water. Addi onal spaces are available in the overflow Parking on the gravel lot above the outdoor show site and rings, these spaces have electrical 30 and 50-amp service. There are no Handicap RV Parking Spaces. For a list of all the rules and fees for both RV lots and to make reserva on for them, please see RV Rules on Page 59-60. All RVs parked in the RV Parking Spaces must have proof of the reserva on issued by the Cluster. THERE WILL BE NO RV PARKING ON ANY BLACKTOP PARKING LOTS. PARKING Exhibitor and visitor parking will be located on blacktop parking lots in front of the Purina Event Center. Vehicles are limited to one parking space. No ex-pens or crates allowed on the blacktop, but they are allowed in the grass areas. OUTDOOR RUGS OR MATS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE GRASS. No cones allowed in parking areas. No parking in roadways or next to building. The show giving clubs will be in charge of all parking for the days of their event(s). CRATING & GROOMING Grooming and cra ng in designated areas only. THERE WILL BE NO LINES FORMED OUTSIDE THE GATEWAY HALL OR TENTED GROOMING IN THE RV LOT PRIOR TO ACCESS BEING GRANTED AT 3:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2021. AN ORDERLY PROCESS WILL BE IN PLACE FOR ACQUIRING SPACE THAT FOLLOWS GUIDELINES FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING. ACCESS TO GROOMING AREAS WILL BE ALLOWED AGAIN AT 6:00 AM ON THURSDAY, JUNE 3, 2021, AND EACH SHOW DAY OF THE CLUSTER.
1. Unreserved grooming spaces within the Gateway Hall. These spaces will not have electricity and will be spaced out, clearly marked as acceptable spaces to be occupied. Each space is 5’ x 10’ with social distancing space around them. Blow dryers are NOT allowed to be used within the Purina Event Center. Ba ery operated crate fans are allowed. Access to the Event Center may accessed only through the Main North side door a er 6 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, and a er the end of the each day's events. Dogs may be le in the Gateway Hall overnight, but exhibitors must leave their grooming setups by 10 PM, and must maintain social distancing and not congregate. 2. Unreserved grooming spaces under tents in RV lot. These spaces will have electricity, and blow dryers are allowed in this area. Appropriate social distancing for outdoors space will require aisles to be established between setups under the tents. 3. Unreserved tented grooming space is available in the old show field below the lower RV Parking Lot next to the Visitors Center. 4. “Show & Go Cra ng” is available in the Great Hall on each day of the show. No access to this space will be granted un l each show morning. No grooming space will be available in the Great Hall. This space is confined only to the designated areas that have plas c covering the show floor. Exhibitors are urged to access this space as close to their breed’s show me and exit it as soon as they are finished showing or their breed’s judging is concluded.
Exhibitors are required to stack crates and limit the number of grooming tables to maximize space within any of the designated grooming areas. The Cluster Grooming Space Coordinator, and the applicable Show Commi ee, reserves the right to consolidate exhibitors’ u liza on of space within all grooming areas to accommodate as many exhibitors as possible.
Exhibitors who have reserved RV spaces are urged to u lize the space at their RV setup to groom their dogs. This will allow everyone to maximize the limited space that we have available and help ensure that this is a successful Cluster of shows.
No cones are allowed inside the Purina Event Center. No ex-pens allowed inside the Purina Event Center at any me. Please stack your crates and limit number of tables. All vehicles must leave their headlights on while unloading. All exhibitors must abide by the 15-minute unloading/loading parking time limit designated around the Purina Event Center. NO VEHICLES MAY BE PARKED NEXT TO THE BUILDING OR IN ANY ROADWAY. VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER’S EXPENSE. Bathing of dogs inside the Event Center is limited to bathing areas located next to the Grooming area in the Grooming Building. No dogs are allowed in the exhibitors’ bathing/rest room areas. There are two bathing/grooming tubs, available 24 hours a day, located in the Services Center Building adjacent to the RV parking area. EXHIBITORS & GUESTS No one is permitted anywhere that is marked “Employees Only” and/or “No Admittance.” These are separate divisions of Purina and are not part of the show grounds. No person or dogs are allowed on the second floor of the Purina Event Center. “If your child is in a stroller, keep

a respectful distance from dogs, particularly dogs whose heads are at the same level as your child. Be very careful when near dogs so that you don’t run over tails or feet or bump into them. Be sure your child does not reach out to touch a dog without owner’s permission. No cones allowed inside building. No firearms allowed on Purina Property. No outside food or beverage is allowed in the Purina Event Center or other venues. Violators will be reported to the AKC. No Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) in the Building. No helium balloons allowed in either Hall. No glitter or confetti allowed in the facility. No Duct Tape to be used in the facility. Only painter’s tape or gaffer’s tape may be used. SERVICES CENTER There are men’s and women’s shower facili es available to exhibitors 24 hours a day during the show weekend. Two bathing/grooming tubs for dogs are also available 24 hours a day in the Services Center. This building is located adjacent to the RV parking area south of the Purina Event Center.
BOOTH SPACE Due to the limited space to insure appropriate social distancing, and maximize available show, cra ng, and grooming space; Booth Space, if any, will be available by invita on only.
Hotels: Exhibitors are expected to maintain their premises & their dogs (both at hotels & on the show grounds) in a quiet, clean & well-kept manner. Hotels have requested to report viola ons to the show-giving clubs. Offenses may result in an Event Commi ee hearing.
All trophies must be claimed the day of the show - None will be mailed. Trophies not claimed will become the property of the show-giving clubs. The Clubs reserve the right to subs tute a trophy of equal or greater value.

CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTER- NATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.
A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). A $3.50 AKC Recording Fee will be required for the first entry in Rally and $3.00 for each additional entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 5). A $2.00 Event Service Fee will be required for each entry in 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy. These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.
RETURNED CHECKS / INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry. The Superintendent will add a collection fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check and credit card. Subsequent returned checks and credit card from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a cash-only basis. Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.
No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturb- ances, fire, extreme and or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.
No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.
Refunds made for cancellation of entries before the closing date will be subject to a $3.00 administrative/ processing fee per entry.
No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor the Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up the class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.
The show giving club, the Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. PUBLICATION RIGHTS By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any per- son or animal participating in this competition. 24 June 3rd - June 7th, 2021

The Sweepstakes classes are open to So Coated Wheaten Terriers who will be 6 months of age and under 18 months of age on the date of this show, except champions. No champions shall be eligible. Agents, their assistants, their families and anyone who receives remunera on for han- dling dogs may handle only dogs they own, co-own, or bred in Sweepstakes. Dogs entered in Sweepstakes must also be entered in one of the regular classes at the regular entry fee and on the regular entry form. Indicate the Sweepstakes Class with the age division in the space provid- ed for “Addi onal Class”. Sweepstakes will be judged immediately before the regular classes.

Thank you for your interest in reserving an RV space at Purina Farms. Check-in me is 3p.m. on the arrival date shown on your reserva on confirma on and check out me is by 11a.m. on the departure date shown on your reserva on confirma on.
Purina Farms offers 2 different RV lots on property. The Full Service Purina Event Center RV lot offers water and sewer as well as 30 and 50amp electric*. The Electric only Main Show Field RV lot offers 30 and 50amp electric.

Quiet me in the RV area is from 11:00PM to 6:00AM. Any RVs arriving between these hours will be placed in a holding lot un l a er 6:00AM when they can then move to their designated spots or a er 3:00PM depending on when designated arrival date on the reserva on.
Day camping is available in 3 different designated lots on property. Spaces are limited and are available on a first-come; first-served while there is s ll availability. Day campers must vacate the lots by 11p.m. on the same day of arrival. Day campers do not need a reserva on, but they must be represented on a Club guest list, abide by all guidelines and be entered/par cipa ng in an event on property.
RV reserva ons for the Mississippi Valley and Missouri Rhineland must start no earlier than June 1 and must end by June 8. Please email** this request form to [email protected] by May 21. All requests must be RECEIVED by May 21 in order to be considered. Again, there is a nightly charge of $40 in the Full Service Purina Event Center Lot* and $25 in the Electric Only Main Show Field RV Lot. Reserva ons need to be paid in full within 2 days of receiving a confirma on email. Full payment by credit card must be received before the space can be confirmed and finalized. Credit cards only.
* Water is not available in the Full Service Purina Event Center RV lot from November 1 through April 14. Due to this, the nightly fee in this lot is reduced by $5.

Overnight Camper Informa on Thank you for reques ng an overnight camping space in one of the Purina Farms designated RV lots. Our RV Engagement Specialist will respond back to your reserva on request within 3-5 business days to let you know whether your reserva on is confirmed. Reserva ons are taken on a first-come; first-served basis and are assigned based on length of equipment (rig) and space availability. If confirmed, you will receive an emailed confirma on that must be shown upon arriving at the front security gate at Purina Farms. You will also receive instruc ons on how to pay for your space. Full payment by credit card must be received before the space can be confirmed and finalized. Credit cards only.

Any RVs bigger than 50’ must reserve a spot in the full-service Purina Event Center lot. Max size of RV on property is 55’. Tow vehicles are not factored into the length of the spaces as they must be unhooked.
Spaces are refundable if cancelled more than 7 days out from the arrival date listed on the reserva on confirma on. Otherwise, no refunds will be given. Spaces are non-transferable.
Please note that RV reserva ons are only accepted for those entered (or those who have dogs/cats entered) in an event that has contracted space which includes the overnight camping lots. Upon request, par cipants must be prepared to show proof of event entry upon arrival at Purina Farms.
The Purina Farms RV lots are only open to vehicles specifically designed with overnight sleeping accommoda ons including motorhomes, fi h wheels and travel trailers.
RV rental reserva ons must terminate Mon-Saturday. Rental providers won’t pick up or drop off on Sundays. Rentals may be ONLY be moved by the rental companies. Plan accordingly with the supplier if you have reserved more than one space during your stay.
Any false or inaccurate informa on provided when booking a reserva on will result in the reserva on being null and void with no refunds given.
