Since his return from the World Juniors, Comtois registered 29-27=56 points with a +34 rating in 25 games played. Victoriaville earned a berth in the QMJHL playoffs and will face Gatineau in the first round. • Antoine Morand finished his third QMJHL season with career highs in assists (50) and points (76). Morand helped Acadie-Bathurst into the playoffs, and will face Chicoutimi in the first round. • Jack Kopacka helped Sault Ste. Marie to a #1 seed in the Western Conference this season, posting 31-32=63 points and a +28 rating in 66 games this season, earning career highs in goals, assists, points and plus/minus. The Greyhounds will play Saginaw in the opening round of the OHL playoffs. • Max Jones and the will take on North Bay in the opening round of the OHL playoffs. • Sam Steel and Josh Mahura helped the into the WHL playoffs and will face Swift Current in the opening round. Steel completed the 2017-18 season with 33-50=83 points, while Mahura, who was selected for the Eastern Conference Second All-Star Team, set career highs in goals (22), assists (47), points (69) and plus/minus (+36). Mahura was one of three WHL defensemen to score 20-or-more goals. • Tyler Soy completed his 2017-18 season with a career-high 35-56=92 points, and has helped Victoria into the WHL playoffs for the sixth straight season.
