In Bangkok, in The Tesseract low-budget hotel called "Heaven", the fates of four guests are interconnected due to a theft in The Tesseract room: Sean, a paranoid English drug dealer, who is dealing with a powerful local drug lord; The Tesseract British psychologist Rosa, who is grieving the loss of her son and conducting research with poor children in Thailand; a seriously wounded killer, hired to The Tesseract the mobster; and Wit, an abused thirteen-year-old bellboy, who steals from the guests. In the end, we see that it is almost impossible to control life and, sometimes, a subtle incident may lead to fatality. The book, The Tesseract, is written by Alex Garden who wrote the incredibly book The Beach, and the screenplay to 28 days later. Although the novel was no where near the level of The Beach, it was still an interesting and gripping book. It cuts out half of the story line, has horrible shots, transitions and effects throughout the whole thing, makes no sense, is extremely disjointed, and has the most wooden acting I've seen since I The Tesseract annoyed that I spent good money renting this out, that could've been spent on more beer. If you are tempted to watch this, think twice, put your blockbuster card down, pick your library card up. The characters aren't particularly memorable and the concept of the tesseract is thrown in almost desperately, as a bit of novelty could shed an entirely new light on the familiar concept of the same incident being related by different people. It was a largely forgetful book. The protagonist, I think his name was Simon see? I can't even remember was bland. Every other character was bland too. Thankfully the Philippines was given some life in this book. Garland nicely described the scenery here, and he doesn't sugar coat it as to make it sound ridiculous. The plot was really dumb. When starting The Tesseract Tesseract, you The Tesseract clearly feel the similarities between this book and his previous but The Tesseract quickly becomes its own story. The book follows several different characters and jumps around within the timeline. The Tesseract we have a Fili I The Tesseract just finished this book this morning and I, like many others, picked up this book after thoroughly enjoying his previous novel The Tesseract Beach. Next we have a Filipino family living out in the suburbs in Manila and finally we have some street kids living their lives in a rough environment.
