In Geographic Coverage addition, Ebinat and Meketewa (South Gondar zone) and East Belesa (North Gondar zone) were included as expansion Woredas for food distribution only. Project Description/Introduction The TRAIN project is currently operational in seven chronically food insecure woredas of Amhara Regional state: Lay Gayint, Tach Gayint, Sedi-Muja, and Simada in South- Gondar zone and Abergele, Sahila and Ziquala in Wag-Himra zone. Six woredas were initially included in the first year of the program but one of the woredas in South Gondar, Simada, split in to two woredas this fiscal year (FY). Additionally the Regional Government requested three additional woredas be added as the result the operation area extended to Ebinat and Meketewa woredas in South Gondar
