The Promises given to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque

As we connue to examine the 12 promises Jesus gave to Saint Margaret Mary, this week we look at the ninth promise:

Promise 9: I will bless the homes in which the image of My Sacred Heart shall be exposed and honored.

Reflecon: The heart is a universal symbol of love. During this Advent season, we especially remember that Jesus became one of us, a human being with a body and a soul. He is true God and true man. Thus, the image of his human heart is a sacred image and reminds us of God’s unending love which comforts and helps us deepen our own loving devoon to God.

Adoration is every Friday from after the 8:00 Mass until 5:30 pm, and all day and night on the First Friday. This is your invitation to also spend sacred time before the Blessed Sacrament and hear how God is speaking to you!

One goal of the Parish Plan is empowering our youth and young adult parishioners. In order to meet that goal we are developing a campaign strategy to actively recruit youth and young adults and involve them in parish-wide activities such as young adults personally inviting peers, encouraging engaged couples and young families that are preparing for Baptism to continue to stay active, and reaching out to the youth in Confirmation preparation.

Come enjoy an evening of good food, great music, entertainment & much more. This annual event is a gi from the St. Margaret Mary Catholic School and is free of charge.
